Some more world-building thoughts.

A couple of weeks back I asked if anyone was interested in talking about gamebooks here and there were a few takers. Since then, Andrew Chapman's "Seas of Blood" (Fighting Fantasy #16) has been beating me up. The link will take you through to some spoiler-free observations and links to the first five playthroughs. Before I go back for more punishment, has anyone else had much experience with this book? I'm not so much looking for pointers as an impression of the difficulty. (I know I beat it in the 90s but I suspect that young Derrick wasn't exactly playing fair. :P )
