Few must try stores 1) Kheng Fatt Hainanese Beef Noodle (4.25/5) One of the best beef noodle in Singapore. I like their dry version, thick and savory beef sauce, with soft tender stew beef and mixed tendon. 2) 91 Fried Kway Teow (4/5) I like this stall char kway teow, not too dry and can still able to see and bite the eggs. The most different about this stall is the fried silver fish (crispy and fragrant) and top with lush boil green vege. 3) Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice (4.25/5) Be prepared to queue for this chicken rice for about 30min, but its definitely worth the wait. The rice is flavourful with the chicken stock and not soggy, with the tender white chicken, their breat meat is not too dry is what I like most as I hate breast meat haha. 4) Keng Heng (Whampoa) Teow Chew Lor Mee (4.25/5) One of the best lor Mee I have eaten, traditional style where it uses fried fish and also fried fish skin which you seldom see anywhere. It also has fried wanton but what I like most is the gooey and flavourful sauce which most others are watery and tasteless. 5) Haji Kadir (4/5) This is the first time I try sup tulang (mutton bones in soup), I'm a lover of meat on bones but sucking bone marrow out of big bones is something new especially in a soup of red sauce. I have kambing soup before I thought it was something similar but oh boy I was wrong, it was totally different. It was not spicy at all although it was fiery red, in fact its abit sweet and full of mutton fragrance. There are bits of meat on top of the bone and you actually knock abit to "shake" the bone marrow loose and suck it. So good, its finger licking good, I gave it a 4 as it would be better if more meat was on top of the bone haha. 6) Mr. Baguette (4/5) An unusual place to find french baguette in a hawker center, kudos. I like a few of their items, Tiramisu Lava, Garlic toast, Red Velvet Lava, Baguette Tart are all very nice but Baguette Tart their best seller is best eaten there as Baguette and egg tart gets a bit hard once its cool.
