A popular sentiment in the United States is that larger breasts are more desirable, and while this may be true for some, breast size should be evaluated on an individual basis.  Women with smaller frames, for example, may feel that their breasts are too large for their body.  #BreastReduction #PlasticSurgery

Dr. Mackenzie is understanding and a very precise. He's trained in surgical arts and is very professional and articulate. I went to get a Rhinoplasty and it's been a month after the surgery everything is feeling fine and looking excellent. Great work, would recommend stopping by and getting work done if you're interested you won't be disappointed. The staff is great as well, Lisa especially. Thanks so much, glad I came! Will be coming back if I need anything else!

Dr. Mackenzie and his PA Jessica are both fantastic. I have had several surgical procedures done by Dr. Mackenzie, the most recent being breast implant replacement with a lift. The results exceeded my expectations (as has been the case with all other procedures he has done for me) and my recovery has been completely painless. He takes a conservative approach which leads to a natural look. I greatly appreciate that he honestly tells me when I am not a candidate for a procedure because I don't need it yet. I feel he gives an honest and realistic opinion of what he can and cannot do for a patient based on their expectations. I will not go to anyone else and I will certainly be back for my next tune up (whatever that may be!). In addition, I would ask for Zed Reagan by name for your anesthesiologist. He was so kind, thorough and professional. I loved the whole team.

I can't even begin to explain how thrilled I am! Starting from my initial consult the whole office staff was so friendly, and Dr. Mackenzie while professional was very personable! I had gone and had consults elsewhere, but never found anyone that really seemed to care about what I wanted for my ultimate goal. I never felt rushed or pressured and they were even patient with me when I kept changing my mind about my implant size. 4 days post op from my breast augmentation and liposuction I feel amazing! I couldn't be happier with my results and it's only the beginning of my recovery! I would highly recommend Dr. Mackenzie to anyone looking for an excellent (and super nice) plastic surgeon!!!

I had a horrible experience with Dr. McKenzie. People say he was helpful but definitely did not see that from him. His assistant, Lisa, was very helpful and patient but Dr. McKenzie was only kind until mistakes were pointed out. I saved for years to get a breast augmentation and paid cash for the operation which happened about 3 years ago. I wanted something very natural and proportionate. However, when I looked in the mirror, I was mortified to see that one areola was significantly higher than the other. I thought I could just live with it but a friend of a friend suggested I get it looked at by a family friend who is a plastic well-known yet retired plastic surgeon. I showed him pictures with different angles and he said the augmentation was poorly done and suggested I return to get it corrected. I scheduled an appointment to speak with him about it and, to my surprise, he was angry with me for bringing it to his attention! I was in utter shock that he would be angry and pessimistic with a patient for something reasonably disappointing. I began to cry and could not understand his reason for behaving in such a way. Rather than suggesting ways to fix the problem, he made several excuses. I literally had to say, "Okay... I didn't come here to accuse you or argue with you. I just want it fixed. What can be done. I paid $300 more and under the knife I went... again. He cut out skin to bring one areola down. Little did I know, this was the beginning of another mistake. I went to about a few follow up appointments and each time, Dr. McKenzie said it was healing great. I was so happy to hear that. But it has been over a year and the scar is still there. It is bumpy and ugly and hurts when I do certain exercises at the gym. I'm self conscious about anyone seeing it and I regret ever stepping foot in Dr. McKenzie's office. The reason I'm writing this review is because I went, yet again, to see Dr. McKenzie about the nasty scar thinking he might be helpful this time but I was wrong for being optimistic. (PS If you choose him as your surgeon, always always always take someone with you as a witness) He said it was my fault for not returning for more follow up appointments. I explained that this was never explained to me and asked him how many appointments I was supposed to return for. He shrugged his shoulders and did not answer me.... His staff never reached out to tell me that more follow ups were needed to prevent a nasty scar from developing. Again, I said to him, "What can be done about it? I don't want to live with this scar for the rest of my life." At this point, I was sobbing and he said he would have Lisa call me to schedule an appointment to cut out the scar tissue. I left the office crying and Lisa never called. Beware of Dr. McKenzie's knife.

I have had extremely positive experiences at Pacific Plastic Surgery and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mackenzie and his staff of providers. As a patient with a strong family history of breast cancer, I had prophylactic mastectomies with reconstruction years ago and recently experienced an implant rupture. Dr. Mackenzie's professionalism, demeanor and surgical expertise in replacing my implants was beyond stellar and the overall experience from the initial consult through surgery and post op follow-up as good as it gets. I have also seen all of Dr. Mackenzie's aesthetic providers--his PA, NP and RN--for cosmetic injectable procedures and laser services, and find them to be first rate. We are truly fortunate to have such an exceptional plastic surgery center right here in Santa Barbara!

Dr Mackenzie was very nice and I am happy with my results but I felt the staff was a bit pushy and he tried to convince me of an additional surgery that I wasn't interested in. Price was fair.
