Lot's of time without any news... Let's see. Editing the equipment is getting close to being done, and all that without increasing the app size by much and with some memory and performance improvements. Oh yeah!
For now the equipment is going to be used only by the adviser part but in the future I want to add functionality to help the users manage their own set of equipment (how old and used, estimate value, etc). It's already possible to add free data to the equipment.
After the editing feature is complete I'll also add a import/export and eventually maybe even a way to upload/download set of equipment.
Let me know what you think.

The original page is gone, but google cache still shows what was a call from Mr O'Donovan to crack on those pesky open source internet browsers... LOL LOL LOL
It's funny when politicians show themselves as they are : simpletons without a clue.

I know of only one major Web Browser that is not at least partially open source: Microsoft Internet Explorer. A browser also happens to be the most hated browser among developers...

Nice visualization of the Portuguese politicians and their interchange with the private sector.
It's a very symbiotic relationship, benefits both participants although at (possible) the cost of the social environment the inhabit.

1 / 2 High speed rail is marketed as a sustainable alternative to air traffic. According to the International Union of Railways, the high speed train "plays a key role in a stage of sustainable development and combating climate change". As a regular long-distance train traveller in Europe, I have to say that the opposite is true. High speed rail is destroying the most valuable alternative to the airplane; the "low speed" rail network that has bee...

OpenStreetMap (and Wikipedia too) is such an inspiring project.
As more private companies offer us maps, we need an open-source, editable solution - a cartographical Wikipedia

Has the European Commission accounts ever been successfully audited?
Should we, tax payers, just assume that the EU Commission is simple a bunch of benevolent folks that do their best for our well being?

The video is of Marta Andreasen. You might remember her as the Chief Account that was sacked because of lack of loyalty and respect by refusing to sign the accounts that she didn't trust.

What a mess...

Sorry to get technical, Mick, but the accounts haven't been qualified.

Has a very specific meaning to auditors.

(I try not to bore for England on this topic spent too long trying to deal with the issue of audit quality.)

Should they have been qualified is another matter but trying to get ordinary people to think about audit standards?!

With all the push for austerity why is not there a push to end of corruption?

After all it looks like corruption  is a lot worse for economic growth and  a >90% debt...
