Great place to have family dinner with a large group. All of their dishes are in large portions, so you will definitely have plenty of leftovers. Very dellious italian food, make sure you make reservations before hand. You might have to wait a little bit but it's def worth the wait.

The Chicken Carbonara is my favorite here! One of the few chain restaurants that choose be right in the middle of downtown. For those who haven't been here before, beware of their enormous portion sizes and tempting pastas. The cannoli & tiramisu isnt too great, focus on the specialty pastas and the entrees and you'll love this place

Pretty good italian food with a nice environment. It's great for big parties and if you prefer eating family style (or if you just have a big appetite). It's also good to sign up for the buca e-mails, since they usually send me coupons in my e-mail. Also, one time i forgot to print out the coupon, but when i showed them the coupon on my iphone, they gave me the discount! Great for birthdays too.

I don't get the low ratings of this restaurant. I know it's a chain, but they still serve good food and you can't beat the atmosphere. One of our friends was visiting from overseas after leaving San Francisco 3 years ago. He asked us whether we want to have dinner together at this restaurant. Of course we said yes. Here's the thing though. If you're looking for quite, this is not he place. This place has a loud acoustic, so it will be noisy whenever the room are filled (weekends!). We went here once a few years back when they were shorthanded on servers. After expressing our concern to the manager, he told us that our meal was free. There were 10 of us back then! The food is alright. Some good, others not so much. Some of our favorites:chicken marsala, veal parmigiana, and supremo Italiano pizza. For dessert, the tiramisu is a must! Last time we were there, we found the server's phone (which he left carelessly on the next table) and gave it back to him. In return, he gave us a free chocolate cake. That was a nice gesture.

I had such a very delicious dinner of the spaghetti with marinara sauce, salad, garlic bread, tomato basil soup, raspberry ice tea, ice water. The waiter and bartender were very nice, friendly, and very supportive service. Excellent!:-)
