Very much enjoyed our morning playing out at William's Den last week! Impressive quality of detailing / care taken to be true to sustainable principles (Will be even better once intended planting goes in.)

Lovely to have this resource for our local area, and great to see such a project come to fruition, a couple of years after we completed the LVIA.

Congratulations to all involved, we wish it every success (and given that they were too busy and having to turn people away when we visited, we have every confidence that it will continue to be a big hit!)

Geeks' eye view of the Lake District... Impressed with footpath drainage; regular cross-channels prevent footpaths becoming streams. (Bill did look at the stunning views as well, honest!)

2B is recruiting! http://bit.ly/2omuZs2

Would you like to join our team? We are looking for a post-graduate qualified and / or under-graduate ‘year in industry’ student, to help manage and develop our workload.

It's a great time to work near Hull City of Culture 2017, and 2B has an interesting portfolio of varied work to get stuck into.

Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis, until final closing date of 24/06/17.

New Blog Post - Slow The Flow: Calderdale http://bit.ly/2kCFaWo

Amanda discusses our work with Slow The Flow: Calderdale, from the perspective of both a flooded community member, and professional Landscape Architect.

Since early 2016, it has been 2B's privilege to collaborate with 'Slow The Flow: Calderdale' and the SOURCE partnership, working to implement Natural Flood Management (NFM) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in the Calder Valley.

This post looks at the group, how it has evolved and how it works with others. Look out for post 2 for more detail on the NFM and SuDS projects we have been involved with to date.
