The risotto is amazing. The service is fantastic. The little chocolate and peanut butter treats they bring you with the check are great. My only issue was the steak. Honestly don't think it is their fault. I was there at 5 right when they open and there alone. The servers kept coming by to say the food will be out soon. Anyway the steak was a bit too charred. As I got further in the meat was good but not much better than average. I was expecting similar quality to the Jeff Ruby places back home and was not even close.

My visit was September 29, 2014 about 9:30 ish. The table was nice, but slightly uncomfortable. It was located by the windows at the restaurant's entrance. The area where people passing look inside, which means that I have to oversee how we eat. The ordering process was fast but the wait for the food, including the caesar salads, was way too long. So 30 minutes after ordering, the salads arrive with dressing on the side. They were mini heads of romaine lettuce. Like WOW, we pay you 26 dollars and we get to make our own salads. I loved their caesar dressing though. The rest of the meal arrived before we finished our salads and that's when the fun began. First, there wasn't a complete set of utensils on the table. I'm sure they could have utilized the order to meal wait and prepared the table. Then w e had THREE (3) waiters for a party of TWO (2). Eating became a challenge because someone always had a question and they hovered around us through the entire meal. At one point I uttered, are we the only people eating in here?? Before I say this, we had a filet mignon, a rib eye, an order of asparagus and 2 caesar salads, they were all portioned way too small, for 176.00, (no alcohol), we should not have been hungry 2 hours after eating. The waiter collecting the check appeared to be surprised that I paid with cash. He asked me if I wanted to pay in part cash part card. I said no. It took him 20 minutes to return with the change. It was probably 23 dollars and change. Should have taken less than 5 minutes. I WILL BE BACK and give me 2 or 3 waiters who hover around bothering while we are trying to eat, I promise you they're going to work this time. My impression will last far longer than the money I pay to eat there. Truly, Sandy Larsen

This is by far one of the best restaurants my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The service was top notch and the food was just perfect. I had the diver sea scallops and wife had a steak. Both were of course cooked perfectly and were just amazing. I should mention that though I LOVED my scallops my wife found them a bit too rich. I like rich food though so it wa perfect for me but if you do not like rich food the scallops may not be for you. I can't remember the sides we had but they were wonderful as well.

Pretty excellent meal all around. Went for the second tier meat. Steak tartare was superb. Excellent wine pairings. Well worth the cost for a special occasion!

Not impressed, ordered the roasted 16 ounce New York Bone in for $62,00. It was tough and for all practical purposes uneatable. Wait times between main course and dessert menu was long, the dessert was good, but you can get good dessert lots of places without having to pay $15.00 for it. My advise, go somewhere else

Ok, it's hard for me to write this because since I'm writing it, that means I'm not eating here and that's just a shame. Both of the times that I've been here, I've been quite pleased -- though one more than the other. However, it's still a fantastic place for some steak and fixings! I've tried the: Maine Lobster Bisque -- This is a solid and tasty lobster bisque. My only complaint was that it was a little bit heavy handed on the tarragon (to my taste). That's not to say it wasn't amazing, it was. Domestic Wagyu NY Strip -- I mean, it's wagyu and it's NY strip. There's literally nothing wrong with that. Domestic Wagyu Skirt Steak -- While I loved the NY strip, this one was honestly tastier. I've always felt that the skirt steak was a tastier cut of meat and this proved it. Oh, and the sauce they serve with this? Ridiculously good. French Fries -- Spectacular. Seriously. Order two. Mushrooms Assortment -- Honestly, a bit of a letdown. They were just quickly cooked and not too much else. Asparagus -- A nice break from pure meat and potatoes bliss, nothing overly amazing about them, but also nothing wrong with them either. Brussels Sprouts -- I get the Brussels in many of the places I go, and these ones are pretty solid. Cinnamon Monkey Bread -- There are no words to describe the pure amazing that is this monkey bread accurately. Out of 100 times, I pick a chocolate dessert 99 times. This is the rare occasion that I didn't and it's the right decision. Let's not fully bury the lead though, the bread that comes to the table? I bet you can't eat just one. The service is also impeccable. If you're looking for a quality steakhouse, you're certainly on the right track coming here.
