Great food and drinks! Lisa is the best bartender and very friendly. I've loved everything I've tried except the fish tacos. Maybe if the fish was fried and it had a sauce it would be up to par with the other entrées. Great place to meet and enjoy good food and friends.

My friends, from out of town, and I went here for a pre-concert dinner. I personally had never eaten here before, but my husband had and remembered it being ok... well, it was not this time! You had to valet, because there's literally no parking and the valet is terrible. They lost our keys! (we found them luckily, but they misplaced them). The food was non-edible. The guac was the only thing that was decent. My buddy's fish taco had bones in it. Who likes to pick fish bones out of their fish taco? No-one! It also was very dry. No sauce whatsoever. And the service was meh. There are WAY better restaurants in this area. Quite a few Mexican places right down the street. I guess if you want to go somewhere and drink pricey tequila this place would be ok, but plan to eat before you go!

I'm completely ashamed that I'm just now getting around to writing a review for Agave, after having lived nearby and visiting a few dozen times now, not to mention having an amazing rehearsal dinner hosted here as well. To get right to it, Agave is not only the best Southwestern restaurant in Atlanta, but it's quite literally my favorite restaurant in the city, period. The food is always delicious (their cayenne fried chicken, in particular, is spectacular), as are the house margaritas. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and eclectically southwestern without being over the top. It's very inviting and comfortable. Great date spot! The top-notch service, however, is what makes Agave the best of the best. Of all the times I've been, I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile from Tim and then promptly taken to my table by a knowledgeable and friendly member of their wait staff, but not before getting a wave from one of the bartenders I've gotten to know over the years and who has introduced me to all kinds of new cocktails and tequilas. That being said, don't hesitate for a second to try Agave. Restaurants simply don't get much better.

Awesome Tex Mex restaurant! The service here was great and the food was extremely tasty. I still think about their corn dish as my favorite appetizer and for an entree I would recommend their smoked chicken. Also it can get kind of busy but if you can't find a spot to park just use the complimentary valet (definitely an upside)

Agave is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. From the outside, it's completely unassuming. Inside, there's a warm and vibrant scene. When you walk in, you're greeted with a wall of tequilas. This alludes to the night ahead. They make some of the best margaritas in town... lots of variety too. As for the food, Agave serves up consistently flavorful cuisine that they describe as eclectic southwestern. I call it delicious. My favorites include the Anejo Shrimp, the grilled salmon, Agave fried chicken (it's spicy, succulent and filling) and all of the vegetable sides. The honey collard greens, pinto beans and julienne vegetables make for a filling veggie plate. You'll need a reservation on weekends unless you don't mind waiting a while. Service is usually good and they do a great job at accommodating groups for birthdays and other gatherings. They do good in the community, regularly participating in fundraiser nights like Open Hand's Dine Around. I like that they offer tequila tasting dinners throughout the year to introduce a variety of tequilas with special menu items. And here's a little tip... sign up for the restaurant's newsletter. With it, you can take advantage of their Monday-Thursday night $12 entree special. You just have to be seated before 6p. I know...that's early but indulge your inner senior citizen and save a little cash at the same time.

I love this spot! Some of the servers are a little snooty and impatient, but the food and atmosphere are great!

Amazing southwestern food this far east. You have to ask for a vegetarian menu, but everything in it we tried was amazing.
