My wife and I came here for our first anniversary and could not have been more happy with this place as our choice! They put us in a quieter area of the restaurant and the waiter made many suggestions, none of which were the more expensive dishes, and all of which were incredible. We will definitely be visiting this place again next time we are in Washington D.C. It's an expensive place but it gets 5 stars because I feel it was worth every penny.

Their is no better way to spend a weekend afternoon than the Dim Sum brunch. What a treat. I also had a meal that that was excellent; you will have a great time at The Source.

Food: 5 Decor: 4 Service: 2 Came here for Saturday brunch at noon after making reservations a few weeks prior. Opted for the $40 8-course, split with my gf. Our 7 unique dishes (we ordered 2 orders of duck bao) are below, ranked from most to least impressive: Lobster & Shrimp Spring Roll Honey-Ten Spice Dipping Sauce ~Delicious. Fried, amazing with the dipping sauce. Duck Bao Buns Lacquered Duckling, Cucumber ~Delicious, although I thought the buns could have been better. 2 buns per course. Wok Fired Shrimp Dumplings XO Sauce ~Delicious. Chow Feung Rock Shrimp, Sweet Soy ~Delicious. The rock shrimp was amazing. General Tso's Wings Roasted Bird Chilies ~Pretty good. Wings were cooked perfectly. Shanghai Noodles Curry, Chili, Braised Oxtail ~Pretty good. Noodles were excellent, and the oxtail was very good. Course with one of the biggest portions. Pork Belly Pot Sticker Black Vinegar, Chili Oil ~Mediocre. More like a dumpling since the bottom wasn't very seared, and overall it was very underwhelming. Service was very disappointing. Pacing was horrible, and there were two significant gaps during our nearly 2hr brunch. We had to wait 20+ min for our last course, despite our server coming by around the 10 min mark to let us know that it was coming soon.

If you're a fan of Wolfgang Puck's approach to fusion Asian cuisine, this is the place for you. Many interesting dishes served with panache. Hip and sleek decor and style.
