To help me through those long days of coloring at work, I like to listen to podcasts of my interests. While looking up color reference working on the Beyond the Fringe digital comics, I stumbled upon this podcast. Being a huge fan of Fringe, I can't believe I never looked up a podcast about it! I've been listening to this for the past month and I love it! And they've done some reviews of Beyond the Fringe! plug So if you're a big fan like myself, check it out! :D And if you're NOT watching Fringe, you NEED TO! :P +Golden Spiral Media

The processional of the Batmobiles passing by our office!! TOO AWESOME!

This event was filmed for an upcoming documentary about all the different iterations of the Batmobile. I believe it's going to somehow tie in to the upcoming Dark Knight Rises film coming this summer. It was super cool to see them drive by (twice, even!). I want the Tumbler!! All those people cheering at the corner of the street are us DCE employees. Whenever this documentary comes out, look for the guy recording this in a cardigan sweater holding a giant iPad. Yes, I recorded this with my new iPad. lolz

For a while now I've been trying to figure out how to utilize Google+. I mostly use it for following others (and now sites) in industries I have an interest in. I use Facebook for keeping up to date with family and close friends (because, well, they're all there ... as opposed to my small fraction of friends signed up here), hence my lack of updates on G+.

I don't use Twitter because it was a bit confusing to use at first. The concept kind of baffled me, actually. I know it's probably better now, but I've survived this long without it so it must not be THAT big of a deal to me. And plus, someone has the Twitter name I wanted to use, and it's been inactive for almost a year; so maybe I'm just bitter about that.

After signing up for G+ and seeing it have it's own "follow" feature, I definitely put it to good use adding a ton of games and tech journalists and other such industry gurus to my circles. The list of people using G+ has been growing, too. I'm having a blast with this feature. And the people I follow are really good about how they use G+, as well. I feel like Twitter is too flooded with people who feel the need to share their every thought of every second in a day. But here on G+ so far, so good. Kudos to all the awesome people in my Following circle. :D

So that's how I've been using G+. But how can I use it that's not like how I'm using Facebook? For the past few months it's evolved in such a way that one can almost use it like a blog (which a few people I follow have actually been doing). Haven't done that in years, and I feel like the itch is coming back to me. So I've decided to somehow use G+ as my personal outlet for my interests such as games, movies, music, etc. and thoughts to links I feel the need to voice my opinion about. We'll see how this goes. Will people find my musings interesting to read? Ahdunno. But it'll be right here if they do. :)
