I lived there in 1999 before the Olympics. They were brand new units! Management was great and it sounds like some of the people doing reviews are not reasonable. I played a ton of golf at the golf course that surrounds it. Great place! I also lived in an Archstone property in Las Vegas and they were great too!

Quickly: I don't recommend it but it's not terrible, but not that good either. The good: Location, apartment layout, quick maintenance, decent neighbors, pools in the summer (but not super clean, lots of kids), snow removal and lawn maintenance. The bad: Dogs galore (barking, pooping) cheap carpet, BUGS, cheap kitchen, no ceiling lights, smells funny, fees out the wazzu when you sign the lease, sketchy management, depending on the day - unfriendly office staff, HAD MY LOCKED-UP BIKE STOLEN off the balcony. I moved to Legends in March 2014 planning to stay for 2 years to save up for a house. It was very reasonably priced at the time. When my 1 year lease was up and it was time to sign up for another year the rent went up over $100. They gave me some sob story about how the rent was unreasonably low when I moved in due to the change in management to inflate their number. I decided to only renew for a few months since I hadn't found a new place to buy. It was sketchy, I didn't appreciate it. My apartment is on the ground floor and has a lot of bugs in the summer. There's even a bee's nest inside the balcony wall that they refuse to do anything about. They say its because the bees are endangered. Maybe they are but I still don't like it. I get at least 2 or 3 bees a week inside the apartment.

Do not move here. They do not work with you at all. all they care about is $$$$. The man who lived across from me hung him self out side. My girlfriend was the first one to see it. Asked to move out and move on. They wouldn't let me just wanted more $$$. Then 2 months later had to call the cops on the man who lived below me. Had to testify ageist him in court and they still wouldn't let me move even knowing my family was in potential danger. All they care about is them self and how much money they can make off of you. They don't care about you of your family's safety. Do not move here and stay away from building 11. Drug deals all the time and cops there 2 times a month. All I can say is RUN!!! You are better off living in West Valley or a box on the side of the freeway. Your family will be safer there. Even Sandy PD knows this building. Now that is saying something.

Do not move here, I'm gonna keep it simple and plain, THESE ARE THE WORSE APARTMENTS TO LIVE IN!! If you mention the bad reviews they will say, "oh, we have a new management". It's bull, it's still messed up. They lie about things, tons of hidden fees, WALLS ARE VERY VERY VERY THIN, you can literally hear everything, literally, example: last night i woke up to my neighbors baby crying, i thought the baby was right next to me. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, tons of wannabe thug teens too.

I have a fully upgraded unit. although it is very nice the price is pretty expensive. My biggest complaint is utilities. When I moved in I was under the impression they would be around $50. Since being here I have never had a bill under 80 and normally it has been $98-$100 which is insane for an apartment!! I will be moving out in may to a house that I won't mind paying that much in utilities for. I would suggest not moving into an end unit. Our master bedroom is right on the wall with all the AC units. In the summer they kick on every 20 minutes and are literally so loud you can't even hear your TV.Having your windows open is out of the question because then you would not even be able to hear yourself think! This was a super frustrating part about living here. Other then that maintenance always come fast and the girls at the office have been super awesome anytime I needed anything. The location is great but I would make sure if you are moving in you budget the utilities into your payments because I did not plan on that when we moved in.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO LIVE! They don't work with you what so ever, All they care about is money. I had my broken car parked in my parking spot unregistered for awhile and they BARELY gave me 24 hour notice before they towed it. Not to mention my boyfriends job cut his pay and hours in half during Christmas time he had a little more than half the rent and he asked them to give him 2 more days to come up with the rest, they wouldn't hear him out and they sent it to attorney which ended up being an extra $1200 dollars that he had to come up with in 2 weeks. And AGAIN IT was CHRISTMAS TIME. if your looking for a place that will have your back when uncontrollable factors come into play this is definitely not the place! Another thing is they are dirty, sloppily painted. I've had to clean mold in my apartment, the pipes were all clogged and wouldn't drain. The doors and windows arent sealed properly, I can run my heat for hours and it still wouldn't get past 70 degrees. I've lived in a lot of apartments and this is by far the worst place to live . The only thing nice about it is the location. Other than that the management is terrible, and lack common courtesy. They are unprofessional and and unwilling to work with you what so ever! DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!

My wife and I rented at Legends from December 2014 to December 2015. I was skeptical about renting from an apartment complex having not done so since my undergrad days. After a year I am happy to say that my experience far exceeded my expectations. The grounds were always well kept (although like all pet friendly complex's some pet owners can decide against picking up after their pet). I was especially pleased with the grounds crew's effort to have the sidewalks shoveled during the winter. I can only remember a couple of times where the sidewalks weren't shoveled by the time I left in the morning (630-7am). A HUGE BONUS of Legends is its location in proximity to both the FrontRunner (less than 5 min) and Trax (7-10 min) Trains, which I rode daily. My wife and I both found the front office staff friendly and always willing to help us with any issues. Issues we had during our stay were a leak in the ceiling from a pipe that had cracked which was fixed immediately. Also, we had a group of younger adults living above us that were loud later than they should have been. Management was quick to step in and remedy the situation and even offered us to move to an upgraded unit to resolve the problem. Overall our time there was great and we would have stayed had I not accepted a job offer out of state. I would definitely recommend Legends at River Oaks.

This place is honestly so much better than we had in the past and our rent has always been about the same and here its cheaper people here with the rent frustrations well I can't help you there but our experience so far has been good. We do live on the mid level though but these girls are great we worked with Kenna but eventually all the staff was helping and just chatting like we were all good friends so thanks guys and gals y'all have wonderful and the maintenance so far has been wonderful also.
