A current resident, leaf blowers are annoying early in the morning, apartment is right next to the highway and trolley, and street parking is pretty awful...only way for us to get another covered spot it to get a 2nd bedroom, which is not worth the 2.1k+ a month...garbage disposal died within the first month, and had to get the apartment sprayed for ants that same week. But it's the only apartment we could find that will take our 95lbs Doberman.

I've lived here 3 years and 2 months and I am very satisfied and pleased. The management and maintenance experience has been great. The complex is very friendly and clean. The amenities include gym, office, recreation room, pool, tennis and basketball courts and various others. I should have rated here on Google long ago. Thanks.

The apartments aline are simple and basic. The people for the most part are nice and keep to themselves BUT OMG its annoying having to wake up at 6am to leaf blowers and a bunch of crap. but OMG worst part of all is their new security guard. He's creepy and does sketchy stuff!

If you're that kind of person that love to wake up 8am, 6:58, 7:30... here is the perfect place for you. They love start our early mornings using grass blowers and sometimes cutting tree! Everything else is fine! I'd recommend besides this issue.

Club River Run review: It has been a pleasure living here for the last 2 years and now sad that I have to move due to the rent getting too high for my budget. From the other places that I’ve lived in the past before living here at Club River Run, they have one of the nicest group of landlords and very reliable maintenance people I’ve ever had the pleasure to be with during my time here. They just added a mini dog park on our property including adding lights along the sidewalk leading to the trolley station for improved safety. The neighbors are nice and respectful. I have never seen such pet friendly community as friendly and family oriented as this one. The management including the maintence guys enjoy what they do and are good at it. They have cooking classes once a month, movie nights, raffle opportunities and more. The place is always clean including the pool and property itself because of them. They show a lot of respect and interest in our feedback in looking for ways to improve its community. The Safety and security have improved a lot during the last 2 years I have been living here in fact the management have changed and beefed up on security to a better security company to better patrol our community during the nights to keep our community safe. If I were to point out anything negative, I’d say that the layout of the parking lot with the way the residents are assigned results in some having to park far away from their apartments. However, this can be resolved by switching with neighbors who live closer to that original spot you have which is what I did. Also be careful with how you park because of the poles that hold up the parking structure usually get in the way and can damage your car should you scrape against them. Same goes with the mailboxes which are located far from the apartment complex you may reside in. One last thing is we get a lot of unauthorized solicitors trying to sell door to door about 2-4 times a month especially during the summer. Other than that I am grateful that I had the privilege of living here and am going to miss this place when I move out at the end of this month. I’m going to miss the people, and the location meaning we live right next door to the trolley station for I don’t drive and rely heavily on MTS San Diego. The only reason for the move is because the rent has gone higher than we can afford within our budget. Thank you guys for being a part of our lives. You will be missed. With love Amber Yates, and Christian Gonzalez

Upon our move in the carpets were wet from the cleaning and wreaked of pet urine. We documented this on our walk through and guess what, change of management and we got the "we wouldn't give you an apartment in this condition." After about 4 months there was a mold developing in the apartment and when we contacted their maintenance they shrugged it off. We had paid a $800 deposit and lived there 9 months. At the end we owed them $50 for damage to the carpets which we did not cause. Don't bother cleaning because you won't get your deposit back. It's pretty much living in a dorm with the culinary school and art school students, so don't expect to have a suitable family life there. Parking is few and far between and it is not family freindly. . DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IF YOU MOVE IN...TAKE PICTURES AND GET SIGNATURES OR THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF!!!! IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN A STAR I WOULD.

Great place to live. I lived here for a year and a half. Management was very responsive. They do start pretty early with the grounds keeping, around 8 AM or so. Street parking was generally only bad late at night or during a stadium event. I kind of agree, don't bother cleaning. The estimate they gave for the cost of cleaning ($100) before we left was exactly what was taken even with the cleaning we did.
