Didn't like the food. Pizza is really expensive and it was not good. It tasted like it was a frozen pizza. Restroom were really dirty and smelled bad. Not worth the price!!! :-(

The lasagna was microwaved and still frozen in the center. Waitress refilled water glasses with warm tap water - no ice. Asked for tv to be changed to monday night football. No one in house was able to do that. Furthermore, no one cared. This dive is touted as a 1st class establishment and priced as such. Thoroughly disappointing!

Mikes burger with the frings was delicious. Sounds strange getting a burger at an Italian restaurant, but you can't go wrong with avocado and bacon.

The only thing good was salad bar. Lemonade tastes like they make with tap water. Within out group of 8 the food was way over priced for the taste .... expected more .

Interestingly enough I have never had an Italian dish at this restaurant. Every time I come here I have to order the hamburger. One of the best I have ever had! The sauce they use is exquisite. The meat is juicy and flavorful. The bun is toasted to perfection. I always joke with my family that I am a burger connoisseur and I have had them all around the Santa Barbara area. I will make the drive up to Carp just to get a taste of that perfection. Do yourself a favor and try one out, you will not be disappointed.

Does not meet up to the hype. Service was not great. There is so much waiting time, this being on a lazy Sunday evening with the restaurant not even to half capacity. We were sitting there for over ten minutes and nobody ever approached us to take our order. There are other Italian restaurants nearby and would truly recommend those instead. We got up and walked away.

Amer-Italian done pretty well, but still... you could walk across the street and have real Italian for very little more money. Pork ribs were good, beef ribs were terrible. Meat sauce is tasty.
