Would it be possible for you to explore a good Mapping from SpecificBeer to FeatureToLearn_in_Java ? Ie. suggesting brands for lessons?

Upgraded to version 29 a few days back. Actually I didn't notice anything except the tab shape being different from older Ff versions. Thanks to this video, got a lot of new juice from 29. I like Browser console, because of two things: I like to develop some web stuff occasionally and like to keep on top of things. The 'Browser console' is really neat - brings the information about what's really going between the client and web server, as well as what Firefox can and can't do - or doesn't support.

There are many skills in life that one must simply learn through doing. One of those, I think, is the use of money; anticipation, decision-making and understanding of the different 'variables' in a...

Based on a short life-time of number crunching and three months of specifically tracking expenditure - this is the first in an article set about how to manage finances.

Is it possible to make even shorter pulses than those of about 1/40th of a second? Example, "PSR B1257+12 has a rotation period of 6.22 milliseconds (9,650 rpm)". Does the rotation period correlate directly, one-on-one to the pulse length? The PSR B1257+12 would seem really rapidly pulsing. I checked it out also in Celestia software for a visualization :-)

I verified that the home laptop does have an ailment of a failed cooling fan. How? Sucked air out of the left side of the laptop with a vacuum, and let cool air flow from the right side. Temperature went down (according to Core Temp software on Windows) from 85 celsius to 49.

One of the first larger projects that I programmed was a font editor, together with a really good friend. :) This video brings memories of the times. Cool!

Whereas the purpose and aim of using OpenSSL is good (forward secrecy for clients = users), the unfortunate effect of a recent major bug in OpenSSL called Heartbleed affects certain versions of the software package. For information on how to react to Heartbleed, credible sources are information security companies like F-Secure, Symantec, and of course the authoring team of OpenSSL itself. Wikipedia has a basic description of the Heartbleed bug: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heartbleed

If I were teaching IT and thought of a fun way to get into programming, I would definitely consider using Python (and pygame for that matter). From experiences ranging through Pascal, assembler, C, blablabla, into Perl, PHP and Python, I like Python a lot - since it has an interesting and effective combination of straightforward procedurality, and a good library system. But what comes up in Jessica's presentation is so true - I for example still have personally problems with exactly that Win64 + Pygame currently, and that withstanding that I've done computing since forever. :) So taking a standpoint of a first time dabbler I think this would still need some polishing. It's not far, though! Interesting presentation.

For its class, the fast food and kebab/pizza category, I was hesitating whether to give 4 or full five stars to "Ismet", as it's known locally. Five goes for the combination of being very friendly, for the variety of really good dishes, and being a place that keeps going forward in perfecting the experience. I really love this place - in fact I've eaten out here since my high school times, from around 1994 onwards and it still is the place of choice when wanting to have either my favorite, the Iskender kebab, or a pizza for the family.

I'm writing this in English as it will probably be much more universally applicable and understandable. I cannot recommend this hospital basically to anyone, except for treating basic, simple trauma like scratches. The treatment plan is incoherent. Diagnoses are sometimes based on keeping a hand on a patients' skin. Based on this (possibly totally incorrect diagnosis) there's given medicine that may have gross complications with existing medication. The prescribers generally do not ask or check electronically the existing medication. They clearly have both resource and process problems at the hospital. Beware. Use the professional hospitals across Helsinki and Espoo instead.

Toivottavasti näistä risuista on hyötyä toiminnan kehittämisessä.

One of the best niche McDonald'ses in Finland. Why? Because this one has a wifi. It was recently installed anew, not probably least because of my complaints of network outages ;) Seriously - why I like this place is that it serves as a great place to take a coffee or an occasional breakfast. It was the aforementioned wifi, and a very polite and effective crew. Thumbs up! P.S. the cleanest toilet that I've ever seen in a Finnish McDonalds - big extra thumbs up, as the hygiene does play a big part in restaurant experiences.

Sello is a very good mall. With good selection of shops and a cozy atmosphere, certainly not like some shopping malls which make people feel anxious. You can find pretty much everything from ordinary groceries down in the two large supermarkets, to specialty stuff like computer games, books, sportswear, jewelry, and plenty of restaurants ranging from sushi to pasta. Only if you're looking for bulkier consumer goods like bikes, motorbikes or so on, maybe then better head off somewhere else. There's a cinema outside of Sello in the yard (next to library).
