Basic Information
I went into Kingscross after doing considerable research into what car I wanted and, having had several friends and family members drive various models, knew I wanted a Tucson. The only thing I wanted to discuss was pricing. My sales rep was Mateen, who was friendly and happy to help. However, despite me saying I didn't need to test-drive, insisted I test drove. When it came to negotiating price, it took three tries to get to agreement. I know this is an industry thing, but come on. Either empower your sales people to sign off on a price or come and deal with me directly. I was in there for over 2 hours, which I find ridiculous. Very slow service. The financing agent, Raymond, was pretty quick and told me to either bring a pre-authorized statement from my bank or a void cheque. Financing got approved same night, which was great. Got a text alerting me to this but with my name misspelled, something that happened twice more following two email exchanges, during which I signed my name correctly and my name is in my email address. Not impressed. I misunderstood that the pickup was an appointment, not "it is available as of". I texted to let them know I was headed over, to which I received a response of "No". *edit* this was an autocorrect from np, however you should still check, not to mention using short form with a new client is likely not your best option *end of edit*. I was late to the appointment, which Mateen made a light joke about and explained he normally doesn't do pick ups on Saturdays as it's a busy sale day. Perhaps, but I don't need to know about this. Given I was late, I was expecting the car to be sitting out front and the papers all there for me to sign, get in and out in 20 minutes. First, he said it would take 10-15 minutes to bring the car around. Then Raymond said my pre-authorized form was "Not acceptable". I had brought a cheque in case and mentioned the form I gave him was accepted by multiple other vendors, including the City of Toronto. Rather than just smile and move on, he decided to argue on whether it was acceptable or not. Want to know how to piss me off more? Try to teach me a lesson when all I want is my keys! Finally get keys and Mateen asked me to complete this review at the dealership, which requires me to log into my Google account. I'm not prepared to sign into my account on a shared dealership computer. There were at least 3 requests made for reviews, feedback, and referrals during the pick up. I haven't event driven the car yet and you are asking for referrals? I don't think so. The entire pick up took me another 90-minutes, which I find unacceptable not only because I know it takes under 30 to get keys but also because you said you had appointments. If so, why waste so much time with me who is a closed deal? I don't want to meet some ex-pro tennis player, fill out reviews, or wait this long to get a car. Get my name right from the start and when I give you my email, enter it into your system correctly. Read your clients and if they don't want to small talk or seem like they want to get stuff done, move faster. I love my car, don't love the service or experience I got at Kingscross.

Don't get deterred by the line, it moves quickly, you'll get small muffin sample, and it's worth the wait! Huge portions of phenomenal food. I had their Portobello mushroom bruchetta eggs benedict (special of the day) and not only did it taste amazing, but I was stuffed and I'm a big guy! The chef/owner is right out there, hosting, bussing, serving...great customer service from start to finish, I highly recommend going!
