we were enjoying dinner, service was decent and ribs were tasty. that was until there was a price discrepancy in our bill, at which point the manager basically presented it to us as a literacy problem, repeatedly pointing to some obscure spot on the menu that was clear (to him, just not the 4 of us). his words: 'we don't give away sides for free, hon'. certainly not what we were looking for, but some kind of thoughtfulness or decency would have been appreciated. his behavior was abominable. even if these were the best ribs in the world, we'd never, ever return. it was a really crummy ending to an otherwise terrific day.

Hickory house is my go-to steak house. Always perfectly cooked and prime. Well seasoned juicy steak, ok now I am hungry. Hickory House here I come.

I told my girl friend I would take her to lunch in Parker if she when on a motorcycle ride with me from Colorado Springs. Great ride up, and we found it easily right off HWY 83 (parker hwy) The ribs were awesome and fell off the bone. The Heat was a bit on the mild side even on the hotter of the two sauces, but was very tasty. The brisket was equally as good and everything was piping hot. The baked potato, not normally worth mentioning was superb with only butter and sour cream. As another reviewer said, the onion rings are outstanding. Service by our waiter was 9/10. Great lunch at a good price and we will be back soon and often despite the 2 hour round trip drive/ride. I haven't found a BBQ place locally that compares and I like several places here in Colorado Springs. Go there you won't be disappointed!

We ordered 3 baby back rib dinners to go. Rib portions were tiny and had multiple bone chips. Coleslaw and baked beans "sides" were served in to go size cups other places use for butter. Texas toast was soggy. WAY overpriced for an undersized, terrible meal. We will never return.

My son and I went to the Hickory House here in Parker last night and had some of their delicious Baby Back Ribs and Beef Brisket. We don't come here often as my wife is a vegetarian but this week she is out of town. We were surprised that their was not a big crowd as we experienced in our last visit. Their cole slaw is the bomb. I recommend the Hickory House to our friends who live in the area as well. I was little disappointed that there was not Prime Rib last night but was told they don't offer it every night. So call ahead if you plan on ordering Prime Rib. The portions are big and the service was excellent.

Great food if you don't mind the obscene amount of flies in the place. They were literally landing on my fork between the plate and the pie hole. The patio hasn't been power washed since it was built and the bleach water - no where to be found. Service was lacking - salad came right out, great onion rings that were a side to my ribs after that, then 35 minute wait for dinner. What's up with that.
