My first attempted. I did not style the food but just thought I would try the lighting. Stylizing the food will be my toughest battle but I will make it.

A Taco breakfast for this morning. I thought I would try a shot of it using my north facing window next to an east facing window. The food is obviously not styled but I am happy with the lighting and how the food looks under the light. I think it is a good start into my food photography endeavor .  Shot with an iPhone and processed in Filterstorm and Snapseed.

"A wise man changes others. A wiser man changes his environment. The wises man changes himself." I heard this while watching "A Monk with a Camera" on Netflix. I will take this to heart

I wanted to put this link out there for you to read. David duChemin wrote a great blog post about "now that everyone has a camera suddenly everyone is a photographer." My take of what he is saying is that we must adapt our business to the world we work in. That we, photographers, are not alone in suffering this problem in this "DIY" world. Please read it. And David I hope you done mind me putting out there.
My friend, and inspiration, Chris Orwig My first experiences of being part of a group of my peers did not go well. My memories of being in school are mostly filled with my efforts to fit in, and th...

I created this photograph using one flash and a long exposure. Sometimes you have to think outside the shell in order to create the image you want.

The best tool to capture an image is the one you have in your and and between your ears.
Introduction

Like most started taking photos in my teens. I have been a professional photographer in various incarnations 20 plus years. I love to learn new things along with new imaging tools. I truly believe if you know your craft you can create images on any camera given to you. No camera is beneath me.
