For 20-year-old Rachael Brandon, singing and performing has always been and important emotional outlet and the ultimate form of expression. She has been entertaining audiences since 4 years old. It all began at the children’s choir of her local church where she practiced “Mama made me mash my M&Ms” with Mona Harman and performed in Sunday services. In elementary school she was selected for several vocal performances in class musicals including Christine in “Phantom of the Opera,” Cinderella in “The Granny Awards,” and Carly Simon in “Everything is Groovy.” It was in the 5th grade in preparation for Carly Simon, that her teacher recognized a special talent in Rachael’s voice and encouraged her to develop it. This was the point of no return in Rachael’s development as a vocal performer.

In 2002 Rachael began classical vocal lessons at Epiphany Vocal Studio with Susan Fisher, performing in various recitals over the next 3 years. She then went on to work with Leanne Duckgeishel for pop-oriented vocal and performance techniques. In 2005, she attended Power Chord Academy at the SDSU Campus in San Diego, CA where she collaborated with other musicians from around the nation and music professionals, writing, recording, filming a music video, and performing a live concert for friends and family. Lectures on marketing and the music business were also included in the camp itinerary. From 2007-2010, she was enrolled in voice lessons with Dodie Stevens where she learned pop, jazz & R&B vocal techniques and continued to work on stage performance techniques and live concerts.

Rachael has made a name for herself as a talented and award-winning vocalist at her junior and senior high schools via talent shows, performances at special fund-raising events and sports events, including the professional San Diego Sockers team. Other venues where she has performed include The Del Mar Fair, La Costa Glen Retirement Community, When In Rome restaurant, Colegio Mayor San Pablo CEU, & La Pesquera restaurant in Madrid for her university’s commencement ceremony. Rachael can sing in both English and Spanish.

Whether she is singing at an intimate dinner club, auditoriums, or large sports stadiums in front of thousands of people, Rachael finds comfort with the mic, the music, and the stage.

Collaborations include: “Get Loose (feat. Steven Glathe)” Produced by Jovan Woods, Recorded and Mastered by PH Studios; Ethan Brown (piano accompaniment), David Paskowitz, Polish EDM trio 3rd Prototype, Portuguese EDM duo Freik, and soon to be collaborating with American EDM duo Dirty Lazrs.
