Let Me Introduce You to Ma Geeky Self....
I’m a 29-year old Geek, living in India. I work as a Linux / Unix systems administrator in a tech company called IBM in Hyderabad. My technology-related interests include computers (hardware and software), games (computer and console), emulation of classic systems, Linux, OpenBSD, Unix in general, PHP programming, mobile phones, PDAs, other gadgets, computer security and blogging.
Am I a Stereotypical gamer?
I can certainly tell you what I’m not and that is a “hard-core gamer”, someone who spends large amounts of their freetime playing video games – I admit I used to do this much more when I was younger. In the early days of being on the Internet, These online games also covered the period when I was a student. On November 22, 2005, I started gaming again on two fronts, I bought an Xbox 360 & PS3 for some console gaming and also started playing Call of Duty Series,Gears of War, Fallout , Halo 3
so I no longer having to be a classed as a “hard-core gamer” anymore, I’m a casual gamer just like anyone else!
I survive on caffeine. Well, almost. I am a fan of energy drinks, 5 hour energy shots, coffee, and anything else you can think of with "energy" in it!My favorite style of music is Christian death metal. I know it sounds violent, and I guess it kind of is. :) (By Christian, I mean music that glorifies God instead of glorifying man and his lusts.) I would have to say that my favorite band is Demon Hunter, and my favorite song would have to be “Not Ready to Die” by them. Awesome song!
As for non-technical stuff, I like heavy metal music, classical music, writing, history, philosophy, atheism, Pets, zombie movies/books/games and blogging (yes, I already mentioned blogging, however, to me, this blog is part of my “technical” interests, but some of my other blogs aren’t)Like One of the Below Ones.
If you need to contact me, my email address begins with “Nookathota.Sairam“, has a “@” in the middle, and ends with “Googlemail.com“. I can also be found on most social networking by searching for that email :-)
