Corn coming out your "ears"?
CORN – enough to last for a year!! July is here and that means corn on the cob !!  However, you can enjoy fresh corn all year
long by freezing it – in a few simple steps. 1.       Cut corn
off cob and scrape off the juicy bottom part (that’s where the fresh...

Herb and Garden Faire - May 8 & 9, 2015
What would Spring be like without shopping for new plants for your garden?  I plan to stop at the Herb & Garden Faire  held at our local Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum .  This event began 28 years ago and now is one of the area's most popular horticu...

I totally agree.  We returned this year after finding it last year.  Quiet, clean, comfortable and a great place to stay.

Bed & Breakfast
We have a Lancaster County setting for our Bed and Breakfast, located in proximity to the Tanger & Rockvale outlets, the busy Rt. 30 establishments, the American Music theater and to Sight & Sound in Strasburg - all within 4 miles of us.

Our property sets on 1 1/3 acres of landscaped lushness - with blooming flowers over the Summer & Fall months as our focal point. You are welcome to enjoy our display of poppies in July from the gazebo or the front porch.

Come and stay with us "where thoughtfulness and hospitality bloom."

Beautiful clean bedroom and lots of room to spread out in the common areas. Grounds were gorgeous too.

Don and Ruth have created an atmosphere of pure relaxation! Located within a minute's drive of dozens of nearby attractions, this is the PERFECT place to shack up. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and our expectations were exceeded. We'll never forget the people we met and the time we had. Incredible! Can't wait to go back!

The stay was absolutely amazing. As advertised. Clean, and we had no problems. Arrived on Thanksgiving day and mentioned to the owners that we were looking forward to the hammock. They told us it was down for the winter but reminded us about the Gazebo which was just fine for us (it is winter). Next morning: the owner had put up the hammock for us! We also left an iphone charger which they found and mailed to us before we even knew it was missing. Definitely would stay again and recommend without hesitation. Five stars.

The hospitality was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious!! Only bad thing, we only got to stay for one night before moving on. Would love to go back when we can stay longer! Ruth, you are truly a godly woman and we feel blessed to have stayed in your home!!
