When I was little, I was obsessed with the beautiful wrinkles around my aunt's face. I them dubbed "smile wrinkles".

My "foolproof" plan to get "smile wrinkles" backfired miserably, and I learned that there's a much better way... http://ow.ly/HMZpg

Want to find time to read, but never seem able to? Me too... until I started using these simple steps to carve out a little time each day.

I doubt I'll ever plow through hundreds of books a year, but went from about one book every three months to one every two weeks or so. http://ow.ly/HMMMN

God always answers our prayers, but sometimes He says "No!" when we desperately want a "Yes!"

But when He says "No!" it's because He has a better "Yes!" planned ---->

What's better than a rich, moist chocolate cupcake? A rich, moist mocha muffin that's healthy enough to eat for breakfast! http://ow.ly/HMNiY

"Be content with such things as you have, for He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you."

It's mind-blowing, isn't it? As Christians, our foundation of contentment isn't stuff, it's the promises of an almighty God!

Here are some of my favorite promises -------------->

When I first learned that my kids had been exposed to Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, a shiver ran down my spine. It sounds pretty scary, doesn't it?

Thankfully it sounds worse that it is. Since it's cause by a virus, antibiotics are useless, but herbs like echinacea, elderberry, and a homemade salve helped soothe my children's symptoms and they bounced back very quickly! http://ow.ly/HMQ95

Practical DIY projects that take less than fifteen minutes are right up my alley, so I loved these DIY wool dryer balls!

All you need is wool yarn (or an old wool sweater), nylon tights, and a dryer. Once finished, the dryer balls cut down on drying time and help reduce static.

Looking for tasty new breakfast ideas? Try hootenanny. It's as fun to make as it's name is to say and tastes delicious.

Joshua makes it for us every Sunday morning. (A tradition I heartily enjoy!) http://ow.ly/HMKsc

One of our most monumental tasks as Moms is to build a joyful family culture that glorifies Jesus. It's not always easy, but worth all the effort.

Homeschooling isn't just full of lessons for the kiddos! I've been surprised and humbled with just how much homeschooling has had to teach ME: http://ow.ly/HMTeK
