Great little deli for lunch or coffee and cake. When I visited, the place was rammed so we sat outside and staff were very attentive, making sure we had blankets to keep us cosy. We only had drinks but the food inside looked great - I'll be back to try it out sometime.

Chicken pie. Takeaway - £2.50. Eat in £12.50! Complete rip-off. Avoid.

It had been a while since I had visited the Floris Boutique on Ebury Street (a unique gem of London) and we decided to go for a coffee to Baker and Spice. The first time I had visited was last Spring and Belgravia/Elizabeth Street give off quite a different and nostalgic feel during that time of year! Well today was a great experience, the place felt cosy and we decided to sit inside an face the lovely boutiques across the street which include Philip Treacy, Mungo and Maud and Tom Tom Cigars! The location is absolutely stunning. Very serene and private. You feel as if tucked away in a village! Baker and Spice are known for their coffees and hot chocolates! The latte I had today was what I needed to wake me up along with a crisp croissant. I pay high attention to the cups in which the coffees are served as that makes the experience more enjoyable (not to mention the size). The large white cups were perfect for me and just make the experience of sipping coffee on a crispy morning more soothing! What sets Baker and Spice apart is their wooden yet comfortable interiors - you can pop in at anytime of the day and manage to get a corner to yourself to work, catch up on emails or chat with friends. The cakes are something I really do want to try next time!

So it turns out there are great places to eat in Victoria. I called in mid-week at lunch time and had no problem getting a seat. All of their food looks delicious – so it was a hard choice, but I settled on Chicken and Leek pie with a beetroot and goats cheese salad. The food tasted as good as it looked, and I couldn't resist trying a blueberry crumble muffin too. I think it's too expensive for a regular lunch spot (my meal plus coffee came to £18) but great for an occasional treat.

Great find; although it closes far too early (7pm), I love this combination cafe/deli with takeaway food. I occasionally buy their salad boxes (nothing too flimsy; think roasted fennel, veg or goat's cheese/beetroot, pesto chicken breast) to take home and, although they're pricey, they're also delicious. Relaxing spot for a coffee/pastry, too, and the staff are always charm itself.

I love to go to Baker and Spice for brunch on the weekends. It is very nice on a warm sunny day because the sun shines on the outdoor seating for a few hours. The food is fresh and well made. Depending on the waiter the service is okay. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
