We turned a practice with missing members into a productive practice and got some video out of it. This is 3/5 of Xwansongs performing "Get it Back" acoustic-ly.

My year in review.

Obviously this is going to be filled with all the stuff I wanted to remember and none of the stuff I didn't want to remember, but no matter how hard I try those things will creep up on me.

2014 will go down in my personal history as my "lost year." While there is good from this year, there's a lot of bad. There's a lot that I don't want to be reminded of but will be reminded up weeks and days at a time regardless of my lack of desire to remember. The only thing we can do is press on, move forward, and try to rebuild from the ground up as best as we can. But when I look back on 2014 much of what's here is going to come to mind.

Was reminded of this song last night when I saw Flyleaf. Never had I wanted to actually do something described in a song more than I did the moment they got to the chorus. This song describes so perfectly a feeling I've had over and over again the last 8 months.

"Here you are down on your knees again
Trying to find air to breathe again
And only surrender will help you now
I love you, please see and believe again "

I wish more people understood this.
Answering evil requries understanding and insight

It requries understanding to speak against evil, because evil almost always comes with a disguise. The hijacking of symbols in language and images can make a response difficult without an understanding of 'how it has gone wrong' and what the essential issue is. Evil seeks to CHANGE our focus and direct us away from the fundamentals. Evil purposes to create side-issues, to distract from the ones that matter most.

This looks like a nice upgrade to last year's model. I'm going to wait and see what the new Nexus is like before deciding but it's probably either this or the new Nexus.
Motorola has just unveiled the new Moto X, and one of the first things people are going to want to know is if the camera has improved over the original. With an increased resolution of 13MP, an interesting dual-LED ring flash and some small new software features, things are sounding good — but...

Thoughts on the Hobby Lobby Thing:

I find it incredibly interesting that everyone is either pretending or ignoring the fact that corporations are owned and operated by people. People, who have rights just like everyone else. And because so many are ignoring this very basic fact about corporations, so many are running around essentially claiming "My rights are more important than your rights" which is just silly.

Everyone claiming that the decision was "the wrong one" is essentially saying that if you, as a person (singular of people) want to start a company/corporation, you must effectively give up your First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and religion to do so. I don't think anyone really believes that a person should effectively give up their rights. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe that's exactly what people are asking for. If it is what we're asking for, then we're doing something wrong. No one should be made to give up a natural right so that others have non-natural ones.

This is why I have issues with the "health care is a natural right" argument. In order to supply health care, in the way everyone would like, some people's rights to religion will be infringed. The right to freely worship (or not worship) is a natural right because it's something you're born with, it's something that you can have without it affecting anyone else. Health care, is not a natural right because, as this ruling demonstrates, in order to give it, someone else's rights must be infringed.

Finally, if you are unhappy with your employers religious choice to not provide access to contraceptives they feel cause abortion (note: Hobby Lobby does cover birth control, just not certain types of contraceptives), you have the right to seek other employment. No one is putting a gun to your head making you work for them.

Yay! New +Three33 Music tune on YouTube. Guess what's getting repeat listens today.

And no, Tony never writes about normal relationships and we like it that way!
