In 200,000+ jumps made at Skydive Temple there are only a handful of bad reviews. You can't make everybody happy as much as you try. Justin made over 30 jumps and and recently was a pretty frequent jumper at Skydive Temple. He never had a problem with us until he was talked to for performing unsafe turns. He was not amenable to constructive criticism and left disgruntled .As far as our equipment goes, our rigs are brand new.
All the other dropzones he mentions are good, safe places to jump. If you check their reviews we are all quite similar. Our jump altitude is the same as all the others, our staff is outstanding and is second to none, and we offer a great safe, fun place to make a parachute jump.

I wish I could choose poor or fair ....I would choose VERY VERY POOR! If you are looking for a tandem skydive then make sure the drop zone you choose one that takes tandems up to 13000-14000 ft (MOST PLACES DO BUT NOT TEMPLE). At skydive temple, tandem students (1st time jumpers) only get 9000 of altitude. Tandems open the parachute between 5000-6000 ft normaly, so that is ONLY 3000-4000 ft of freefall!! skydive Dallas, San Marcos or Spaceland (in Houston) all take tandems up to 13500 or 14000 ft EVERY TIME for the same or less money than temple charges!!! 1000 ft per every 5 seconds roughly so thats a 15-20 second or a 50-60 second freefall. Why do they do this you might ask...its because the owner is A cheap person that tries to save at the expence of cheating 1st timers out of freefall time. You decide where you want to go I only give you the facts. Do yourself a favor... jump somewhere where you will get your money worth!! ...and funjumpers (licenced skydivers) have to jump from 9000 ft with the tandems unless there are 4 funjumpers on the load. they will make tandem and funjumpers wait around sometimes for hours so that they can run a back to back load...not giving the funjumpers time to pack and make the load. So ...unless you have two rigs you won't make too many loads. The Equipment is old (strong not upi) IN GOOD SHAPE to be fair...but it is a bit out dated. The instrouctors are TOP KNOTCH but the owner has a bad atitude and is a know it all (to be polite). They will all have no problem finding work when temple closes due to larger better drop zones offering more for the dollar!TANDEMS TRY SKYDIVE DALLAS/ SKYDIVE SAN MARCOS/ SKYDIVE SPACELAND ARE ALL A BETTER DEAL with more modern SAFER gear and AIRCRAFT!!blue skies and be safe out there guys!

I've made my home drop zone Skydive Temple for years and have made over 1000 jumps there. The owners and staff are unsurpassed at making it a safe and fun experience; they are my family and my favorite place to play in the air!  And I've been to a lot of drop zones during the 14 years I've been jumping and there are places you can get a little faster at times, and places you can go a little higher at times, but no place where you can have more fun with jumpers with whatever level of experience you have.  The fun jumpers there form up around you and make sure you feel welcome and have someone to jump with; and we watch out for each other.  Where else can you find that?
