At all interested in remotely managing Windows servers from Linux or Python?

+Brian Edwards and +Robert Booth  have been working on a project to improve the reliability, performance and features of native Windows monitoring. The core of this project is Python library for asynchronously managing Windows using the WinRM and WinRS services. This library will then be used by Zenoss to do automatic discovery and monitoring the way Zenoss users are used to with some new possibilities.

Right now we're trying to get as much real world experience using the library as possible to prove out the reliability and performance improvements we're hoping to achieve. If you have access to Windows servers, you can help! No Zenoss is even required as the tool stands alone right now.

See the latest zenoss-windows forum post for links to the project. This version adds support for Kerberos authentication.

Obviously I need to get the beginning of the arrow and the point of the arrow going in the same general direction. Thanks...this explains a LOT!

Standard & Poor's, a credit rating service, was up to its eyeballs in enabling the fraud-ridden bubble of the last decade. It gave AAA ratings to total-junk securities, so it was either culpable in the fraud or too incompetent to figure out what was going on.

So how can this company have the power to fire yet another torpedo into the U.S. economy by downgrading the U.S. credit rating? It does.

S&P just created a new tax on the U.S. economy, because interest rates are going to rise.

Oh, and thanks a bunch, Tea Party...

If the U.S. government was a customer of S&P (like, say, the companies selling mortgage bonds), this wouldn't have happened. It would be against their economic self-interest. Notice that Moody's has not downgraded U.S. debt. Perhaps they are looking for the U.S. as a customer? :-)

It's the muted pastel color palette that gets to me.

The final set of my social media war propaganda posters. These represent each side's victory poster if they had won the conflict. Thank you to everyone who has given me feedback and helped spread the previous posters all around the world, both in physical and in digital form! :)
