Great experience, especially if you live on campus. I would recommend to anyone. Their business school is top notch, great professors and great facilities. Their gym might be a little too small for the number of students enrolled, but there are a lot of options in the Tampa area.

BEWARE OF THIS SCHOOL!!! Florida has the second highest number of racist hate groups in the U.S. Some of those groups have chapters in Tampa such as the Racist Skinheads, KKK's, and the Neo-Nazis. I went to this 90% white school and one of the teachers disliked me so she got the other teachers to join in. He began to make very racist comments in class and I was set up. I began to be EXTREMELY bullied at this school by the teachers so I left. When I left, the harassment did not stop. I am now being racially harassed everyday. Some people refer to this as "Gang Stalking" and/or Organized stalking"

Lazy professors. Outdated material used for classes. Do not waste your money at this institution! Go to USF for higher standards and better professors. Bottom of the barrel at this place.

I don't usually bother to write reviews - but I think this could really help someone trying to decide what college to goto. Quick overview: transferred from USF into the college of business needing about 3 semesters worth of classes till I could graduate. Major was MIS. UT felt very project and learning based, as apposed to USF which was very much memorize for the test sort of direction. Almost all of my teachers were good at teaching and nice people as well. The emphasis on learning and not so much the importance of being great at tests really aligned well with my previous learning as someone who was home-schooled growing up. I went from struggling to get more than 1 B and a bunch of Cs at USF's college of business to all As and 2 Bs or so in my last 13 or so classes I took at UT, and the hardest classes I've taken. I can't vouch for any other department but the college of business I think is really quite good, and this is coming from someone who tends to argue against college always being the best option. This being said things could have changed - I graduated in dec 2010 so take this with a grain of salt.

It's a beautiful urban campus. The business school has diverse candidates. Student-faculty ratio is low. The professors were really nice.
