Urgent Appeal: Pro Bono Photographer(s) Needed!

2016 is a year to make a difference. Together with our supporters in Jamaica, USA, Singapore, UAE, UK and several other countries, the Nathan Ebanks Foundation is working on an ambitious plan to raise critically needed funds and increase awareness of the issues faced by children with disabilities in Jamaica.

Through a virtual team assembled, the NEF plans in February 2016  to launch several targeted campaigns via social media, work with corporations and apply for available development grants. For us to be successful, we need to prepare and submit a great number of documentation:concepts, proposals, presentations, applications, and many other materials. At NEF we realize that one of the key elements of impactful materials is beautiful photography.

However, we do not have the capacity or financial resources to acquire these pictures, If you are an aspiring or  professional photographer, we would like to invite you to support this pproject on a pro bono basis, and use your talent to make a contribution to children's development in Jamaica.

Within the next two weeks, we are looking to create a photo library of children with and without disabilities in Jamaica to be used for our materials, website and social media. Interested persons are invited to get in touch with us by inbox or by sending an email to nathanebanksfoundation@gmail.com.

Thank you.

Hi friends, I would like to share with you a book entitled "Raising Nathan: Every Life has a story which is wirtten by the parent of a child with disabilities in Jamaica. Here is one parent's reaction after reading the book -

"As a mother raising two miracle children, this book has been a tremendous blessing to me and helped to change my whole perspective on the daily challenges we face. Beautifully written, Raising Nathan is a truly inspiring and excellent read. As Christine’s story unfolds, it reminds me of my own journey. Some parts made me cry, others made me so joyful that I could not put book down. Raising Nathan builds your faith to an enormous level. I have learnt from reading this, that it doesn’t matter what you been told by doctors, God always has the final say. It has truly given me the inspiration to keep believing, keep pushing as the author as aptly put it “Every life has a story”. The best way I can describe this book is that it is, a true jewel, a faith-building must-have for all those parenting children with special additional needs." - G. Addison-Kwaku, United Kingdom

This is a great resource to share with family and friends.
