Response from the owner - a year ago
Hello My name is Channon Green GM of King of the Ding PDR and Auto body an Austin Texas small business. I would first like to offer my sincerest apology for being absent during your recent visit to our shop. I was shocked and appalled after reading your comments on Yelp. The sting of your review kept me up that night. After speaking with you earlier today I now have an understanding why your experience may have been unpleasant. Please allow me to explain the circumstances. I am the PDR technician at King of the Ding with the assistance of two helpers ( off till Monday) and I had a customer waiting for a plastic bumper dent repair which required the use of a heat gun that decided to malfunction ( blow up) I was forced to visit the local home improvement store to replace it so that I could fulfill my commitment. I left the door open for the customer waiting in the lobby. You arrived around noon, shortly after I had left for the home improvement store ( gone 20 minutes :-( sorry). We strive to greet each and every customer promptly upon entering our establishment and until now have been successful at doing so. But once in a great while we miss one and for that we ask your forgiveness. We have many reviews posted on yelp, google, city search and others. All of these reviews demonstrate our commitment to customer service and their complete satisfaction. Once again please accept my sincerest apology for not being there on your lunch hour. I am confident that if I had the opportunity to speak with you, your experience would have at least been a pleasant one. I would like to offer you a special discount on paintless dent repair services if you should ever decide to give us a second chance. I would also like to wish you and your family a very happy New Year. Please call me any time, I would love to help!
