From the first time I talked to Channon over the phone, I knew I'd be bringing my Sonata and my girlfriend's Accord in for hail damage repair. Channon is incredibly courteous, and you can tell that he cares about the people that come in and their vehicles. He made the repair process very easy, and worked with my insurance company when he discovered some damaged they missed on the initial estimate. He communicated with me, and even contacted Enterprise to let them know I'd need the rental car a couple extra days for the extended work (the delay wasn't on the part of King of the Ding, but rather waiting on an insurance representative coming out to verify the extra work). The work he did on my car (which I'd only had 6 weeks before getting hit with a few thousand dollars worth of hail damage) was fantastic. I can't tell it was ever damaged. One of the dents was missed in the initial repair, but Channon caught it before I left and I was able to watch the tech fix it in about 10-15 minutes. It was in an awkward spot, and I was impressed with the work he was able to do quickly and the techniques that he used. I highly recommend bringing your car to King of the Ding for hail damage repair (or any dent removal) because the work done there is incredibly high quality.

Very professional and affordable I have always been curious about PDR but little hesitant to try Paintless Dent Repair. My 2011 Nissan Maxima had hail damage and door ding. Channon did an amazing job and I can’t tell it ever had damage. Did I fail to mention that I’m supper picky perhaps even anal. If you have dings or hail damage you should go to King of the Ding.

Thank you, Channon. You made my headlight look almost brand new! King of the Ding was very prompt about restoring my fogged up headlight. When I walked into the shop, I thought I was in a dental office waiting room because of the atmosphere. :D

I rang the bell twice yesterday -- as per the instructions on the table -- but no one ever greeted me. I felt really awkward during that ten minutes. Owner contacted me after my similar review on Yelp with a profuse apology, which is why this place gets two stars instead of one. I apparently came at the wrong time, and the owner genuinely seems to care, but it still leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I wish him well, though.

Hello My name is Channon Green GM of King of the Ding PDR and Auto body an Austin Texas small business. I would first like to offer my sincerest apology for being absent during your recent visit to our shop. I was shocked and appalled after reading your comments on Yelp. The sting of your review kept me up that night. After speaking with you earlier today I now have an understanding why your experience may have been unpleasant. Please allow me to explain the circumstances. I am the PDR technician at King of the Ding with the assistance of two helpers ( off till Monday) and I had a customer waiting for a plastic bumper dent repair which required the use of a heat gun that decided to malfunction ( blow up) I was forced to visit the local home improvement store to replace it so that I could fulfill my commitment. I left the door open for the customer waiting in the lobby. You arrived around noon, shortly after I had left for the home improvement store ( gone 20 minutes :-( sorry). We strive to greet each and every customer promptly upon entering our establishment and until now have been successful at doing so. But once in a great while we miss one and for that we ask your forgiveness. We have many reviews posted on yelp, google, city search and others. All of these reviews demonstrate our commitment to customer service and their complete satisfaction. Once again please accept my sincerest apology for not being there on your lunch hour. I am confident that if I had the opportunity to speak with you, your experience would have at least been a pleasant one. I would like to offer you a special discount on paintless dent repair services if you should ever decide to give us a second chance. I would also like to wish you and your family a very happy New Year. Please call me any time, I would love to help!

Great experience. All three other estimate I received said they could not do paint-less dent repair, but Channon at King of the Ding explained how it could be done, and should be done, since there is no reason to add layers of paint to my ride. Prices were very reasonable, and I will be back soon, possibly for a little detailing or at least for some headlight restoration.
