I love Rogers State University. They have three different locations: Claremore, Bartlesville, and Pryor. I would give it 5 stars, but some of my concurrent classes I took when I was a senior in high school were taught very much just like a regular high school class. I didn't feel like some of my basic gen ed classes did a good job at preparing me for my higher level degree classes. Rogers State is a great community though, with lots of extra activities offered, and friendly people every corner you turn.

It's personal. The education you can receive at Rogers State University is truly one of a kind. Small class sizes allow for closer relationships with students and faculty. At Rogers State, every student is given an amazing opportunity to succeed academically and personally. The campus is beautiful and everyone is friendly.

My ex went here and her classes were a joke. She had her 12 year old niece do her online classes and paid her $50 a month and made straight A's. This girl could barely make C's at her high school but made A's at this college it was hilarious. ( 2 courses )

I would not recommend this school to anyone. I have completed all my courses and have earned my degree. They should of told me a long time ago of the requirements to do Exit counseling. I would have gladly completed it. I chose not to walk and now I get an email saying that they will not give me my degree till I complete EXIT counseling. I am already registered at another college for my graduate degree.... Not to mention the fact, that they would not approve the program I wanted to go to. Instead they insisted that I do the organizational leadership program. I had wanted to do the Bus. Admin program. They would not approve the financial aid unless I did it their way. Seriously I was going to be an RSU alumni but not now. They are a rinky dink college that is viewed as a Junior college, clearly does not have the reputation that the other 4 year colleges have and I now know why....Poorly managed!!!!!!!

I'm embarrassed that I graduated from this school. I had such a poor experience. Go to an actual college town like Stillwater or Norman.

This was a terrible experience. I went and enrolled a few weeks before classes started. Told the lady I was enrolling with that I had just moved back from out of state last fall. She said they would wave out of state tuition. Today, 1 week before school starts I was trying to get my books. Well I couldn't because my account was still showing out of state tuition being owed. So instead of having a credit on my account to cover my books there was a balance. After being transferred to 4 different departments I find out they can't drop that charge until I have lived in oklahoma for 12 months. So I now have to drop all my classes and wait. I know the 12 month thing is not their fault. But they should have caught that when I was enrolling. Not 1 week before class and only because I called and asked. And being transferred to 4 different departments is ridiculous. And the girl told me I was rude. I am not rude. I just told her apparently no one wanted to do their job because obviously they didn't. They all kept pushing me off to another department. I did everything I was supposed to do, they did not. I will not attend this college ever. I will go elsewhere. You couldn't pay me to go here. If you're smart go some where else. They are terrible people who don't care about their students. And don't bother going to Bartlesville campus they just say "oh you have to go to claremore to do that". And don't bother calling Bartlesville location they don't answer the phone ever. Called 10 times today and left a message no answer or call back.

SO EXPENSIVE. for the type of education you are getting, in which I mean , cancelled classes and reading 6 text per course. If only you could teach yourself and get the degree. OH wait, I paid someone 60,000 dollars for that. its awful to be in the work force and then realize how much you did not learn! the only thing is some of the professors are super awesome to talk to, I can not say they teach, but they are good people. Lots of older adults which is nice but staff all over campus is rude. Go to the book store or admissions happy you will leave furious for no reason. I got sick of the attitude, and the way you feel like you are just another pay check. They do not truley care about creating bright and fundamentally succesfull futures. They just want to make the money to seem comparable to OU or OSU. my advice is suck it up and go to a REAL university.
