"God doesn't change his mind".

WRONG.
First, read 2nd Timothy, 2: 15 "Study to shew theyself approved unto god, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, (and this is the important part) RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH".

Now, understand the meaning. "Rightly Dividing" means DIVIDING the various aspects of the scripture into its separate dispensations. This means that, for example, at one point, ALL creatures of the earth ate the FRUIT of the earth. In other words, man, lions, tigers, and bears all ate FRUIT. There was, during the events of the garden of eden, NO consumption of meat by anything. Yet LATER certain meats were declared "clean" to eat. Eventually, ALL meat was declared clean.

Another example: At one point, the only route to salvation was to be a Jew. Non jews, or Gentiles, were unable to achieve salvation, unless they became a Prostelitite (spelling?), which means "a gentile that has become a jew". According to the Bible you hold so dear, this is no longer the case in our current dispensation, the dispensation of grace, the route to salvation lies only in admitting to being a sinner, that one cannot save oneself from god's wrath, and to trust in the salvation provided by Jesus.

There are many cases where "god" changes his mind in the bible. I am not arguing the validity of the bible here, merely making a point that you have NO FUCKING CLUE what you are talking about.

But you ARE right about one thing: the Bible (a religious text) does state that same sex coupling is a sin. But that fact is a religious one. And so long as we live in a nation of....yep, you guessed it, RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, and the actions of these people do not infringe upon your own rights, YOU have ZERO right to require that other people adhere to the constructs of your faith.

I am immensely happy for the LGBT community, and I wish you all the best, but you have a looooong, hard road to walk. It will be full of hate, discrimination, hypocrisy, and laws that say one thing while another is enforced. It will challenge you every day of your lives, and will do so for decades to come, and will not stop doing so until every last vestige of intolerant thought is gone from human minds. However, it is YOUR road to walk now, so get to marching, and best of luck....

Watch this evolve from two tiny car sized bots into giant, sky scraping bots. eventually, the battles will become so massive and dangerous the UN will have to step in and designate vast swaths of uninhabited Australian land in order to create an international arena large enough to accommodate the epic battles. I am calling it now, Russia, china, japan, and America will dominate this new sport, with great Britain, Germany, and Switzerland being very close contenders. Uruguay will actually build the best robot, but will sink their nation's entire wealth to do so, leaving them without the funds to pay for the upkeep, causing them to loose in the end.

Jealous of other nations being able to compete, African tribes will band together and attempt to annex the eskimos for the 4th time in order to put together enough funds to build a bot, sparking the 7th eskimo/African war in almost 3 years. But the rest of the world wont care.

Eventually, aliens hidden in orbit, which have been observing us for thousands of "Nornds", whose original plan was to wait for us to become advanced enough to be capable of using their technology before enslaving us, will see these battles and broadcast them back to their home world. The broadcasts will become so popular across the galaxy, that they will decide they can make more money just by broadcasting our bot battles than by enslaving us, and do that instead. The popularity of the battles will achieve an unprecedented 7th place for the 3rd quarter time slot across the entire milky way (or as the aliens call it, Glorpglap 69), only being beaten by such shows as the ever popular sitcom "Honey, I blotted out the sun", the news channel "ABCDEFG GALACTIC NEWS", and "Paint drying" (a show that is really popular to other species for some reason).

Jealous due to the loss of ratings from the bot battle show, inter-galactic TV execs will plot to destroy the earth and thereby stop the show. They will succeed, thereby ending the human species forever. All because these two idiots decided it would be cool to have their two lumbering, slow, cumbersome bots slow punch each other into submission.

And it will be totally worth it.....

I was bullied horrendously throughout my K-12, and to a lesser extent, in high school. I know full well the pain and psychological torment of knowing that I would have to go to school every day to face those bullies, the uncaring and ineffective staff, and the absolute IMPOTENCE to do anything whatsoever about it.

Of course, I later joined the USMC, and had my gelatinous spine replaced with a galvanized steel rod. But I have NEVER forgotten the pain of deliberate, calculated, social sabotage and manipulation for the personal amusement of spiteful, ignorant, hate filled kids, filling my days with fear and loathing. Any attempt to fight back or defend would only result in myself being alone against an army, and then, as if that were not bad enough, I would then be punished, harshly, by the faculty . I was literally hated and reviled by nearly every social clique in that school merely for being "eccentric". Admittedly I had a lot of growing up to do, but nothing justified the treatment I received.

To this day I cannot understand or reconcile the injustice of it all. And the worst part that I STILL cannot comprehend was that of the faculty's attitude towards me, being totally hypocritical, putting ME under the microscope, singling me out, and identifying ME as the problem, punishing ME when I was the one being wronged. But even worse than that, was the nice kids. The ones that DIDNT pick on me. The ones that treated me like a human being, but always keeping me at an arms distance, and shutting their mouths and diverting their gaze as soon as the bullies showed up. The only thing that was worse than the bullies and the ineffectual faculty were the hypocritical "nice kids" that stood by and did nothing.

Yeah, glad you have a friend to protect you. I had the Valedictorian as a friend in the last two years of highschool and that saved me.

Joe, I have come to be such a big fan of yours because you and I share similar views, tastes, and opinions when It comes to games. I too have felt your rage when playing a game that I expected to be good only to discover that it was shit.

So thank you Joe. Thank you for playing these shitty games that suck ass, so that we don't have to feel that rage.

It says they are open 24 hours. But I went there just after 2 am and the door was locked. There was a car parked out on the side, so I thought, maybe the attendant is just using the bathroom. But no, he was stocking shelves. And when I knocked to get his attention, he just nonchalantly waved me off. If you aren't going to be open 24 hours, then don't advertise that you are, so that when I WALK to your store expecting to be able to buy something, I don't end up wasting my time!

It was late (1250 AM). Needed some hookah supply (coals and shisha). Saw online that they closed at 1. Called. Do you guys close at 1? "Yes" the guy says. Do you guys sell shisha or coals? "Yes" the guy says. Ok, I am about 20 minutes away, can you hold the door for me for a few, I want to come and buy some tobacco and coals? "Yeah, sure, no problem" the guy says. I jump in the whip, shoot on over, and sure enough, the door is still unlocked. I walk in, receive a friendly, warm greeting from all the employees, and they sell me some coals and shisha, and even exchange a little advice about the coals. It was late, they probably had to delay leaving work at super late hours, and still helped out a customer who, for god only knows what reason, really needed some tobacco and coals at freakin 1 am in the morning. Why? who cares. They went above and beyond to satisfy this customer, and were polite and friendly about it. I couldn't have blamed them for being a little irate with me, but the seemed to genuinely not mind. This is a great place, and I will definitely go back.

I have ordered several times, and was happy. I ordered delivery every time, and although the wait time was a little long, my food always gets to me hot and fresh, which is, to me, more important than getting it 5 minutes quicker. Food tasted great. Other than that not much else to say. Im actually trying to order from them right now, but I keep getting a busy signal when I call. I guess they must be pretty popular.
