Vermiculture is the process of using worms to decompose organic food waste, turning the waste into a nutrient-rich material capable of supplying necessary nutrients to help sustain plant growth.

Vermicompost (Worm Compost) is far more complex than chemical fertilizer, and it contains many other substances (biological and chemical that improve soil and support healthy plants. Some of these include humus, worm mucus, and plant growth promoters like cytokinins. In addition, vermicompost commonly contains ten times as much micro-organism activity as plain soil (microscopic bacteria and fungi).
All of these support a healthy soil food web. The micro-organisms in the soil are able to provide the plant with everything it needs to be healthy. Because the soil is a living system there is no excess fertilizer to run off. Healthy soil makes for healthy plants.
The humus and worm mucus in the vermicompost helps the soil hold more water, retain its structure (or tilth), and stay aerated, while also providing binding sites for micro-nutrients that would otherwise wash out of soil.

WormAdd is a range of organic tonics, soil amendments and additives using `container worms' (worms kept in a controlled enclosed environment and fed a specific diet).

Products and information will be added soon.

USA Department of Agriculture states that on average vermicompost contain approx. 5 times the exchangeable Magnesium (Mg), 7 times the available Phosphorus (P), 11 times available Potash/Potassium (K), and 1 and a half times the Calcium (Ca) found in fine top soil. These nutrients are in a state that can almost instantly be used by your plants, as they need it.

The worm’s digestive enzymes unlock many of the chemical bonds that otherwise tie up nutrients and prevent them from being plant-available. Thus, vermicastings are as much as seven times richer in phosphate than soil that has not been through an earth worm. These nutrients bind onto organic matter in the fecal pellets
