In order to increase space available and improve the experience of the café, we will be closing for 3 months in 2017.

Building work has already commenced with new gates under the archway at Brantwood itself in order to accommodate Ruskin’s coach. Work on the coach house is expected to commence in early January 2017 with the grand reopening expected to take place in April. Ruskin’s boat the Jumping Jenny will also be getting a new home on the terrace. Many improvements will be made to the café in order for us to accommodate opening in the evenings and make the inside brighter with more natural light.

Whilst the coach house is undergoing development, we will be operating a tearoom in the Severn Studio offering hot drinks and snacks to visitors.
