There is such potential in the location, and name of Watch City Brewery. However, these guys can't execute to the potential. The beers are left with too much sugar that is unfermented so there beers have a sweeter flavor than others. The range of flavors in their beers are that great either (bland.) Their food is meh, and you won't catch me eating food here even if I have to have one of their beers because it's a meet-up place with a friend/colleague. One time I was there with my fiancee and she was given a bad glass of wine (it had vinegar-ed.) The waitress informed her that the bottle was just opened, and it was fine. We had to get someone else to open a fresh bottle of wine for us. It was very upsetting to get a hassle to have a drink-able glass of wine.

The beer is great, and they even have a pretty decent veggie burger. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the name and menu celebrate the regions history cutely.

I wasn't a fan of their beer. Their IPA had a weak aftertaste and the titan was way too sweet. The service was slow but the food was OK.

Ugh. Service and decor were both poor. The beer was entirely average (I'm a bit of a beer snob). The appetizer I got was tasty. I won't be going back there any time soon and I don't recommend it.

I come here after work for drinks occasionally. I find that their in-house beers are very hit-miss for me, but that's not a huge deal because I can always find something I like. Years ago the food was exceptional, they had great sliders. I think they changed their chef within the recent past though, because it has been average bar fare of late. Service is typically pretty good, but I've had some pretty crappy nights there.

Great local brew pub. Tasty house craft beers, with a tidy decor, and typically good service. Atmosphere is lively, but never over crowded (unlike the Skellig next door). Unfortunately, the food menu has taken some big reductions in the last few years. It used to include a good selection of entrees, with good variety. Now the menu is a single sheet, mostly burgers and a few sandwiches, and a couple entrees. Most everything on the menu is good, but it just lacks variety. Also, one of the most kid friendly eating spots in the neighborhood. They have a train table near the bathrooms, and sometimes live music, which are great for entertaining the kiddos.

Salad greens were nice&fresh. Chowder had good flavor but I prefer it more on the thicker side. Had the meatloaf plate and was a bit leary but it was great. Very moist and bacon was a nice compliment. The mashed potatoes were real which you don't always get in many restraunts.
