Set your PVR's, I'm on Steven and Chris today at 2pm! The boys and I are cooking a fuss free Christmas Dinner. Spoiler Alert…a meat mallet goes aerial and just misses my head, Christopher and I can't get out of a giggle attack, and the bench we are sitting on in this picture almost gives way (hence the face on Christopher!). If you miss it, I'll post a link as soon as the video is up!

Who doesn't love meatballs as an appetizer at a holiday party? They're bite-sized and packed full of flavour, and as fast as you put them out, they disappear!

Meatball Tip: Use lean ground beef and a lower oven temperature to deter meatball shrinkage.

December is here (holy cow did this year fly by)! Which means lots of celebrating, laughing, getting together with family and friends and enjoying the festivities.  To help, here’s an easy appetizer to make that has big flavour - date, gorgonzola, pecan, and prosciutto.  The combination of salty and sweet is simply delicious.

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween night! Although it poured in Toronto (and SNOWED this morning), the kids seemed to be having a ball running from house to house collecting treats. Me and the neighbours did our usual - shivering outside while handing out candies and sipping cocktails to take the chill away.

If you're still cold to the bone like me, this Tomato Soup recipe with a side of grilled cheese will warm you up.

Yesterday, Dina and I were at it again – having a blast in the kitchen and cooking up a storm with apples.

We made Smoked Gouda and Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and a delicious Fall Festive Salad.

Have you tried adding sliced apple to a grilled cheese before? It adds a slight sweetness, that goes oh so well with cheese.

Have you ever made turkey stock in a slow-cooker?  It's delicious!  The constant and even low temperature creates a clear, rich tasting stock.  http://karyosmond.com/how-to-make-turkey-stock-in-a-slow-cooker/

Last week I got a little saucy with Dina on Breakfast Television (BT Toronto). We made two easy pasta sauce recipes: a basic tomato sauce made with only a few ingredients, most of which you probably have you in your pantry and penne all a vodka sauce – a rosé sauce that’s seasoned with bacon and vodka.

This past weekend Zak and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a big pan of Paella - the ultimate seafood dish to share. I looked all day for the perfect recipe…think I found it!
