What a wonderful relaxing three nights we had in Orleans Room number 20. Even with three rainy days we can?t wait to return. Stephanie was so attentive making sure we had fresh coffee. Our room overlooked the ocean and the sound of waves filled our room. The room was clean and spacious. AnnMarie & Joe

I can't say enough how amazing this Inn is!! The views, direct oceanfront, the huge deck, the rooms, the soft sand in a beautiful quaint town. A great continental breakfast!!
*Another bonus a short walk to Sundae School for ice cream and some great places to eat ! ?

The Inn the beach used to be the Sandpiper Court back in the early 80's. My husband and I have been going back every summer for many years. We were so happy when it was purchased and refurbished and became the Inn on the beach. It is in the perfect location to get up on the morning and take a long walk through the town of Harwich Port. Lots of shops and restaurants and what we believe is the prettiest beach on the Cape! We raised our 2 girls there as we visited each summer! They are now adults and still love to join us for a day at the beach.

We just returned home from our five day stay at Inn on the Beach in Harwichport Mass.
Our room was nice with a large bathroom and side view of the ocean. Would definitely want to reserve this room (#9)
again.
The Inn also offers continental breakfast which featured fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries, coffee in a seaside living area beautifully decorated.
Nice deck with umbrella tables and firepits to enjoy at night.
The beach is beautiful and picturesque typical of a Cape Cod beach surrounded by sand dunes and seagrass.
The Inn also provides lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas on the beach.
Walking distance to downtown Harwichport where there are many nice shops and eateries.
Most of all, the staff at Inn on the Beach are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Stephanie as she was very hospitable and helpful.
Overall, enjoyed our stay and will return.
Would highly recommend to stay here for a relaxing, enjoyable stay on Cape Cod.

We found Inn On the Beach on Trip Advisor and so glad we chose to come here! The Inn is adorable and the staff makes you feel right at home. We stayed in The Beach House ( #20 ) and it was amazing! Full view of the ocean, huge room , beautiful bath, fireplace, private deck with table, umbrella and chairs. The Inn has a huge deck with amble seating and fire pits after dark. It was so relaxing and low key. Breakfast each day consisted off cereals, bagels, breads, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee and tea. Just enough to start your day. The location is perfect with a short walk into town with cute shops and restaurants. Already planning on coming back next summer !!

We had a wonderful time at the Inn On The Beach and enjoyed our holiday very much.
The place is fantastic, the beach is marvellous, the terrace is great!
The staff at the Inn is really friendly and helpful.
Harwich port is a nice town for walking around and visiting the bars and restaurants.
There are only two points why we did not gave the fifth star for excellent:
The breakfast is mainly for people who prefer a sweet breakfast in the morning,
we missed some darker bread, cheese, something like that.
I guess the quality of the breakfast could be a little better, more "healthy".
The second point is that the room is really clairaudient. You hear a lot from the neighbours and from the parking ground next door.

Inn on the Beach is next to the popular Bank Street Beach, an ideal holiday vacation on Cape Cod, MA. The inn is charming in a Cape Cod sort of way which is to say a bit rustic around the edges. Breakfast was included and varied some day to day, but was certainly adequate. You will definitely enjoy the entire beach - not just the private part - if you stay at this lovely Inn.

Beautiful, Quaint place, excellent, quiet location with private beach. Staff is friendly, warm and very well spoken- Raza and Stephanie. I loved the high quality linen, every detail in the room to make it a comfortable stay. The breakfast was so fresh and high quality. The quiche was excellent. I shall be back someday!

The real attraction of this property is its perfect location right on the beach. Some travelers have been critical of the rooms and I would say they are on the smaller side, but certainly adequate. How much time do you spend in your room, really? The bathrooms are also pretty small and could probably use a reno, but it is the beach we wanted, not a manicured, deluxe seaside resort. Our room had an intrusive outdoor light that was reflected in the mirror by the door and kept my husband awake. Boom; the manager fixed it the next morning. I would add a front mat at the door to the rooms to help scrape off excess sand and perhaps another rag rug at the sides of the bed. Bonus for travelers from away- towels and beach chairs and umbrellas are provided!! You also can't beat the helpfulness and kindness of the manager, Stephanie, and all the employees we met. The complaints about the parking lots are minor. If you take one of the rooms facing the public beach lot, you have a fenced, private patio- from which you cannot see the parking lot. For the rooms on the other side, your private patio is looked down upon by the upper windows of the Inn next door. I can't see why people have complained about the breakfasts- not a full English, mind you- but plenty of protein and carbs and fresh fruit: hard boiled eggs, yogurt, quiche or the like, bagels, toast, croissants, Danish. Good grief, what more do you need? Room had a microwave and a mini fridge. We'll definitely be back!
