I will never forgive Stannis for this! Not only did he murder his child, he let her suffer in terror and agony. Those piercing screams will haunt me forever and remind me why savages and fanatics like Stannis and Melisandre deserve worse than this sweet frightened girl and should join Joffrey and Tywin and be followed by Ramsay and Roose shortly.
Toad should have been there too. I'm also surprised Rogue made it on the list with the amount of scrutiny she got from the fans. Personally, I'd always liked Rogue, I just wish they had given her a chance to shine with her usefulness in X3 instead of just waster her away.
Varys tells Ros that unlike her "current employer" he doesn't have people abuse each other and Ros acts surprised that he knew about that, but Littlefinger had nothing to do with Ros hitting Daisy for Joffrey. Tyrion put them up to it and Littlefinger wasn't in the city when it happened, unless it was something else we didn't know about.
It's sad how Mark Stanley talks about how his character worked as a mirror for Jon was the main character of that section of the story, knowing where Jon is now and that Grenn wasn't around to stand by him. I wonder who will fill in that part of the story now if it's ever revisited again.
We never hear the theme playing during Stannis' scenes, which shows detached he's become from his house and the family he never loved and becoming so consumed by his supposed destiny to the Lord of Light that Melisandre manipulates him with. At this point, he's a loss to upholding any name now and more consumed with himself.
geez what's with the 19th century finery?
I wonder who the person is that David and Dan said they wanted to get rid of for being a pain in the ass to them about being killed off. Dan said at 13:35-39 "Guess who it is." Hmmm he says it like we should know who it is and makes me wonder which actor could have been giving them such a hard time for them to want that person out of their sight.
Man we the audience are as sadistic as Joffrey when we see hated characters die before our eyes. I thought I'd be cheering out loud at Joffrey dying but I kept silent to see how gruesome it really was and only said "Burn in hell Joffrey you son of a bitch!" when the credits rolled. It's better watching the scene without people cheering and laughing because silent reactions to Joffrey's choking and Cersei's grief are more effective in watching how these two talented actors bring out the most human performances to these otherwise hateful people to remind us what a cruel world it is for the good and the bad alike.
Well I'm just a young post-grad guy who's still trying to find his place in the world. Being a suburban kid with not much but a hourly wage job, good parents, and having a lovable dog can keep me content with life, although I want to get more out of life than just staying stuck all the time. I don't spend much time with friends although I would like to, it just hasn't been easy finding those who are trustworthy. I do like to give it a chance to get out more, but I hardly get excessive with. I've been used to being alone with watching movies, listening to music, jumping on the tramp, walking on trails, and bringing the dog for some rides. I feel like a kid at heart most of the time and that can make me seem naive at times, but I'm easy to get along with and not one to judge people openly. So whatever this site brings me, I can't tell, I'm just giving it a try.
I'm a movie buff in that I can provide background about films, relating to their history, their directors, cast and crew members, their release dates, and the legacy they've had. I've never smoked, done drugs, or drank, so that's kept me clean and safe with the law and the public.
