First time owning a Toyota, and took car in for routine maintenance. This location customer service is exceptional, friendly, helpful, and fast. They have an efficient process from greeting at check-in to check-out, and assigned service rep. The complimentary shuttle within 5 mile radius is an added bonus.

Horrible!!! STAY AWAY!! Julio have the worse customer service! Dishonest place. They gave me a price, when it came to sign the papers they changed all the numbers. When I told Julio the prices were wrong, he said he said "sorry I just wanted more comission"! Seriously? Bad experience ever... My husband went for a oil change for his new Camry when he went back the back right side window was crack. Really? I got my prius in Santa Monica & they helped my parents to get a new car as well.

On July 10,2015 i took my 2009 camry to get repaired at Toyota of Downtown LA.. it was throwing a little smoke at cold start so i was told to leave it overnight so they could confirm the next morning when they start my car..next day i got a call from service advisor Rueben and confirmed said my stem valve seals needed to be replaced and my extened warranty would cover it as well as a rental for the next 3 days ..the followingTuesday Rueben called me said my car was ready i picked it up the next day at home i decided to check my oil and take a look under the hood maybe i would see something new or anything as i lifted my hood it felt loose no resistance and the hood would not stay up it imediately came down the lift supports on both sides were shot /broken i called Rueben cuz my car was not like that when i took it in rueben told me those wear out and i know they do this is not my first vehicle i understan its wear and tear but the fact that it was not in that condition when i left it in their hands and they were both broken i mean it was not even sagging or slowing coming down there was absolutely nothing wrong with them and Rueben said they could do nothing about it really upset me I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER EVER TAKE MY CAMRY AGAIN TO Toyota of Downtown La!!!!!!!!!!

On May 9th I brought my 97 Land Cruiser in for an oil change. I got a call 2 hours later saying something happened to my vehicle. The employee said something was wrong with my brakes and the mechanic couldn’t stop and smashed into a wall. This was ridiculous because I drove it there myself and didn’t have a problem. I arrived at the dealership to see that my vehicle had been smashed into a wall near the work station. I was told by the service manager that another employee was pinned against the wall when the driver lost control. They tried to tell me that the driver had trouble driving over a speed bump in front of the work station, but it’s not very big and any small car wouldn’t have a problem driving over the bump. The driver was driving way too fast to lose control in that small of a space and cause that much damage to the vehicle. When I told them that my brakes were fine they gave a vague answered and never really explained how the driver could cause so much damage just pulling into a work station. The service manager apologized and told me not to worry. They said their insurance would cover everything and it would be fixed and everything would be good as new. I got a call a couple days later from their insurance saying that my vehicle was totaled and that they would not repair it because it would cost them too much to repair the vehicle. I told them it wasn’t my problem if it’s going to end up costing them money. Long story short, they didn’t do anything to fix the vehicle despite promising that everything was going to be fixed for free. I came for an oil change and they smashed my vehicle into a wall and totaled it then refused to make any effort to repair it. They basically said insurance won’t cover the repairs. Too bad. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was lied to over the phone about my brakes not working and then lied to me saying everything would be fixed. DO NOT COME HERE!

This is the second time I have leased a car from this dealership. I love my PriusC and the people who helped me with the lease were the best ever. I never felt pressured and they answered every question I had. I will be back in three years!! Thanks!

I can't say enough great things about the staff at Toyota of Downtown LA. After a HORRIBLE experience at Culver City Toyota (Review to follow or check out my review on yelp) my confidence was renewed after going to Toyota DTLA. They were professional, courteous and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we could get the vehicle we wanted. Roger Crisanty,Elcer Hernandez, Simon (sorry I can remember is last name) were all great! They LISTENED to what we wanted and didn't try to push a any car on us. They truly represented the TOYOTA BRAND well! I would recommed this dealership to anyone who is looking for a hassle-free car buying experience.
