Heartbreaking to say but we have just had to put our absolute gorgeous chocolate Doberman, Coco,to sleep. I can not thank all at Vets for pets Stockport, enough, especially Vet Jack Ferrario for his professionalism but kindness and compassion. All through the diagnostic stage, he was helping us every step, with his knowledge and further research. Question after question was answered with great patience. And then for the end, the young lady on reception, Kelly, thoughtfully took us to a private room, instead of being on full view of everyone, whilst we waited for Jack. She thought of everything from privacy to tissues. We were never once rushed and Coco fell asleep with her family all around her and we were given as much time as we needed with her. Pet cremation and ashes return was also arranged for us, on request. We want to thank the whole team as you were absolutely fabulous at this heartbreaking time and Jack you got everything just right for us and Coco. We would recommend you to anyone. Xx

The vets here I can recommend. (Costly, but what vet is not these days!) but very useful service. They took in a stray cat for 2 weeks, not cost. That's quite good right?

All of my babies are registered here and come here for their healthcare and we've just got back from an appointment with our lovely Border Collie Ella, who we were offered a very quick appointment for after I became concerned over Ella's sudden pig-like noises, honking, dry cough and conjuctivitis in her left eye. Ella was treated with respect and was gently handled and enjoyed her snuggles with the vet and the cost of treatment was actually very reasonable. Every vet I've ever seen at this practice has always been kind and gentle towards my animals and have always been respectful towards me and have been caring when I've been worried because any of my little ones have had to undergo aneasthetic. I will never take my little ones anywhere else.

Took my autistic daughters hamster there the day after boxing day as it didn't look well - 15mths old - Vet prescribed antibiotics etc then said he'd clip its teeth as they were long (looked fine to me but am not a vet!) clipped teeth unevenly n caught her mouth too which i believed he should never have done to an already sick animal i believe the shock and blood loss finished her off when she might have survived! On top of all this the vet was ride uncaring and not a people person! He was so bad my daughter had to leave the room we took the hamster home stopping at sainsburys to get baby food that we were told to feed it and whilst i was in sainsburys i got a call that she was dead i came back to the car to find my daughter hysterically cradling her hamster that had blood round its mouth which then caused me to get upset! Rang the vets and told them what had happened and they told us to come back which we did i stated i did not want to see that vet again though! The other vet admitted yes he had caught her but he didnt think that was the cause but i do as she seemed to be perking up anyway long story short it was a horrible experience only made better by the two female receptionists who were caring and kind

5 minute consults are not client friendly - made me feel rushed, unheard and unwelcome. The vet was nice, but I was interrupted multiple times and didn't feel like I was being heard/included in the decision making.

Excellent care and very understanding not a bad word to say about any of them all the staff here are great especially the vets whom work hard to look after all my babies very pleased with the attitude off all the staff i would also like to say how honest and upfront they are i spoke to kobus about my turtle and he gave me advise to the best he could and reffered me to an exotics vets so they are not in it for the money and are only in it to help animals as any other vets would not of told me about the different vets please be aware as i have noticed bad feedback about kobus that he was not brought up in england so comes across as a little different but i have found him to be very caring about animals in general and quite pleasant no disrespect to the lady with the hamster but everyone has different experiences and dont let anyone elses experience influence your decision on these vets please make you own mind up.
