This is Locomotive 2083 found in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It looked brand-new with extremely bright colors. I decided to give it a neon look to accent the side rails and the ladder rungs. Portland (PDX), Oregon has a cool skyline so, I thought it appropriate that I post a few images that I have captured from time to time over the years. They are on my blog: http://oregon-photography.blogspot.com/2016/09/portland-night-photos.html And, they can also be seen on my photography site at: http://1-thom-zehrfeld.pixels.com/collections/portland+-+pdx

About ten, or so very cool Shelby Cobras were visiting Bandon on the Southern Oregon Coast. All were from the great State of Texas.
In fact, we followed them from Coos Bay to Bandon on Highway 101. Yes, everybody was doing the speed limit! Now, you ask, did they drive all the way from Texas? No, they had their cars shipped out to Oregon to do the scenic Oregon Coast tour thing. In this day and age most Cobras you see are replicas. These were no different. Not a big thing! Unless you are in the Cobra circles, you cannot tell a replica from the original. http://1-thom-zehrfeld.pixels.com/featured/shelby-cobra-on-the-prowl-thom-zehrfeld.html #shelbycobra #texas

Introduction

Hi I'm Thom! I live in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast. The experts have stated that we are destined to have a tsunami within the next 50 years on the Oregon Coast...I am kind of hoping that they forgot adding a zero to the 50!...since I am about a half mile from the beach!

My photography experience started with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was in the Marine Corps. In case you don't what a Brownie is, it is not just something you have for dessert.

Yes, I have won awards for my photography! Hopefully, I win more.

Please note: My art pieces on this website are protected by United States and international copyright laws, all rights reserved. Please do not copy, reproduce any of my photography without my written permission. The purchase of any my photography does not transfer reproduction rights.

There are many ways to get involved with my photography…on almost every budget level.

First, the food & view was wonderful.....end of the good things. All I could think of while I was in there was "LA Story" starring Steve Martin, " You can only afford to have the chicken"! It's expensive, folks! Once our waitress found out we were not going to have cocktails or appetizers, we were on our own like second class citizens. Valet parking? Wow! Come on! It will be awhile before I go back. It's a rip!
