SELF-EFFICACY AND COACHING SUCCESS

The concept of self-efficacy is an important one, especially for coaches.

Psychologist Albert Bandura defines self-efficacy as, “one’s belief in one’s ability to succeed in specific situations.”

Our sense of self-efficacy plays a major role in how we approach setting and achieving goals, completing tasks, and mastering challenges.

Check out this blog post on the ICF page to learn more about how self-efficacy relates to coaching our clients.

Good reminder for those of us who are coaches.

“Helping, fixing, and serving represent three different ways of seeing life.
When you help, you see life as weak. When you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole.
Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul.”
