Hi Chris.
Thanks for the update. You already fixed my nougat launcher gripe without you knowing or me uttering: separation of pill and calendar widget from the app drawer. Thank you for that.
Not really a bug, but more of a design ethics question:
Covers in the new dock. Swiping on them opens the app launcher and not the folder contents. And unfortunately my muscle memory got acquainted to swiping.
Converting to folders is an option, but transparent white of the folder icon background on transparent white of the dock doesn't look as good, as the cover icons.
I'd be happy, if the cover swipe would be respected and the launcher opening up only when swiped outside of cover icons, but maybe you already have another idea.
Keep up the good work. Loving this launcher for years now.

I have to second, third and fouth my predecessors.
Great launcher. I've been on Android for 4 years now and used two launchers in that time. I don't go switching around. Nevertheless it didn't take 5 minutes from installing to upgrading.
You are improving familiar concepts and give it everything your own spin. I like it very much.

Small request: Is alpha masking for icon packs on your todo list? I was used to a somewhat consistent style and noticed, that every icon not in the pack gets the vibrant default colors opposed to the desaturated/muted variant the alpha mask produces on other launchers.

Greetings and thank you for accepting me as part of the community. I have come across following bug, that I have not read about anywhere about. Maybe my search skills are abysmal, but here it goes:

Device: OnePlus One (bacon)
RR 5.7.0 (all releases upto now)
XPosed: no way
No other mods

After clean flashing 5.7.0 with Bluetooth Headset connected, the UI of an app playing audio does not update.
Listening to music lets the music play, but the playhead stays where it is. Pausing/resuming is therefore a restart. Very aggravating with podcasts.
Watching ads in games causes the audio to play and after that is done, the video starts to play muted, hence doubling the annoying ad time. :)

As soon as the audio comes out of the speakers or the wired headset, the problem does not occur.
Does anyone have any idea? Shall I provide more info? Would a video or logcat help?

OnePlus One (bacon) || BrokenOS v4.5
SkyNET Alpha 8.2 || KillAds: OFF || Mode: Battery || Extras ON 1,8,12 || No Xposed installed

Coming from a clean flash of BrokenOS v4.5 I installed and activated Battery Mode with Extras 1,8,12. After the 3rd cycle I took the result screenshots.

Performance is totally smooth and I'm quite content with the power consumption while idling. Now if I could only do something about the consumption while active. I still think, that 2h SOT aren't that much.

Forgot to take screenshots of skynet.log and /etc/init.d and I'm already running a new configuration, so it wouldn't make sense. You''ll just have to trust me, that everything looked good. ;) I'll think of it again next time.

Ok, just clean flashed the system:
BrokenOS 4.5 installing as we speak.
What version and tests would help you best?

I can choose from 7.6 to 8.1alpha + TX7Test1. Of course I wouldn't mind testing something completely different. ;)

Hiya,
after getting results for settings in this post, the following happened:
https://plus.google.com/+TobiasWozniak/posts/SiXMECoz4kL

I activated MediaKill, Need For Speed, Reboot. Result was 10% battery drain per hour being idle and Mediaserver took a lot of CPU. So I disabled it again and recharged, enabled kill GP Wakelocks. Need For Speed, Reboot (I know, it's not per se necessary, but I like to roll like that).
Result is (as I have stated two weeks ago), that this killed my Google Play Services for Fit. Only there and I can't for the life of me get them reenabled:
deactivated Extra, deactivated all Extras, Out Of Order Skynet, Uninstall.
Nothing of this has made any change. Is there maybe a bug in 8.1 concerning this.

I'll clean flash tomorrow and will make a NANdroid before any change. I can't disable my daily driver regularly. :)

Any advice, if I should continue with 8.1 or use tx7test1? Where do you need more results?

Greetings,
long time no post. I have had different usage patterns in the last weeks, so it always took some days to achieve comparable results.

Anyways, this is Alpha 8.1 on bacon running BrokenOS 4.3.
Screenshots compare vanilla after factory reset (scripts by broken in init.d, however not activated in the settings).
Then 8.1 in Balance Mode with 2-8-12-15 extras.
Finally Battery Mode without any extras.

I'll stick to the latter, as it gives me more juice without really compromising power (only downside I noticed is less responsive adaptive display).

If anyone can give me any hints on how to improve (maybe my extras combination truly sucks :) ) I'm up for it.

Ok, +K1ks XDA
it took some time, but I wanted to make sure, the testing scenarios were as identical as possible. I let it run through from full charge to battery warning. The dips you can see twice a day are my commute. It involved listening to podcasts & gaming. Apart from that only mild web surfing and messaging us
Skynet Alpha 8.1 - Extras Touchscreen and Kill GP on a OnePlus One (bacon) running BrokenOS v.4.2 (6.0.1 base)

Although I can account for it being smoother than before, the battery savings are not as high as they felt. As you can see in the screenshots, the SOT hardly differs.
skynet2.log and /etc/init.d are attached
I presume the Broken Devs already optimize the hell out of the OS?

If I can be of any more help, tell me, what I can do. Otherwise I'll clean flash the latest BrokenOS v4.3 (latest nightly as of yesterday) and see where I'll come out there.
