These photos are attached to show that this phone is in mint condition, as it SHOULD BE after only 3 days, except for the mysterious crack. As I mentioned in posts before, I did NOTHING to cause the crack. I did NOT drop it, hit it on anything or drop anything on it. The crack simply appeared at about 11:45 on Saturday, August 4th. It is a hairline crack that cannot be felt with your finger.
I am not the only consumer that has had this issue. There are numerous reports on the internet that this same problem has happened to others. Samsung needs to address this issue and repair the phone for free as long as there is no evidence of abuse to the phone. It is either a design flaw (glass too thin) or a manufacturing flaw and NOT the responsibility of the consumer to pay to repair or replace.
I am very disappointed that Samsung is not standing behind their top of the line phone. I truly like everything else about the phone, but if it's going to crack mysteriously, it's NOT top of the line.
Samsung should investigate this issue instead of assuming that the consumer did something to cause it. I'm happy to send the phone to Samsung for FREE repair and for Samsung to inspect so that they may stop this issue from happening to other consumers in the future.
