On behalf of CFA Society Ukraine, we would like to remind you about 2014 Access Scholarships.

Access Scholarships provide needs-based scholarship opportunities for those unable to afford the full price of the CFA Program enrollment and registration fees.

Waive the CFA Program enrollment fee and reduce the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$250.

Access scholarships are awarded in December to be applied to exams in the following year. If awarded, the recipient can apply the scholarship to
- the June 2014 exam (Levels I, II, and III) or
- the December 2014 exam (Level I only).
The deadline for 2014 Access Scholarships is September 15, 2013.

Presentation on the Risks that Securities Analysts Face by Jeremy Bolland

Jeremy has over 25 years of experience in the world of investments, and has worked in London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. For the past 18 years he has worked in securities research at global investment banks. His most recent role was Head of Research Training and Best Practice for BNP Paribas Securities (Asia). Prior to BNPP Jeremy spent five years at HSBC, where his final role was Head of Training for Global Research. He had previously spent five years as a director at ING/ING Barings, and before that spent five years with Morgan Stanley. Jeremy has been a qualified supervisory analyst (SA) since 1997, and as such is qualified to approve securities research for U.S. distribution.
