Worst eye exam ever. Dr. didn't seem to care how I used my eyes. Didn't ask about my eye health. Seemed more occupied with getting me out to the optician to sell me some frames and lenses although I had already indicated that I had frames and lenses picked out with another provider. So, how do I know that this eye exam was a joke? How about the fact that I waited longer past my appointment time than it took for the entire eye exam, and in the end the prescription is wrong. Went to another provider who took the time necesssary to get me a proper exam and prescription. Also, went back to discuss the fact that I didn't feel that my exam was thorough and I was told it was my fault that I didn't ask these questions of the doctor. Guess I thought he was the professional and I was the patient. Silly me. Save your time, your money, and your sanity and go to anyone else but this place.

Ryan, We are sorry you did not have a great experience. I am disappointed that your eye concerns were not thoroughly addressed to your expectations. An extensive evaluation of ocular health is a fundamental component of the comprehensive eye exam. We strongly encourage all of our patients to either undergo dilation or imaging to evaluate eye health. However, despite our efforts to provide education about the benefits of a comprehensive eye exam with dilation or imaging, you elected to forego this important component of your eye exam and signed an informed consent form which details the importance of this part of the exam. Dilation or imaging enables evaluation of 85% of the eye, and not having either of these two options performed results in an eye exam that is much less comprehensive than our standard of care. I was surprised by your negative review, especially considering your request to make an arrangement me for to provide an eye examination for your wife in exchange for you performing website services to our practice. I have a great relationship with our IT contractor and appreciate their work to design and maintain our website and therefore communicated that I was not interested in your proposal. It seems that declining your offer has prompted you to write a negative review for our practice.

Superior service in every way! Although I knew I did not need glasses I was visiting to make sure my eyes were in good shape. No hassles and I received a comprehensive and thorough exam in a timely manner. Yes, I will be back!

If you don't have insurance or medicaid, the groupon thing is a good idea. But be cautious, if you DO have insurance the groupon will NOT save you money on the exam.

Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Eye care is expensive, but important. Being treated with kindness and respect helps lessen the "sting" of the expense.

Really enjoyed my appointment at Elite. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and did a great exam. Sallie fit me with a great pair of glasses and can't wait to get them. I would recommend it to anyone!

Convenient location for me and plenty of parking near the building. Great customer service from the receptionist, assistant, doctor and frame specialist! I will refer my friends and coworkers to Elite! Very nice frame selection, too!

Bad service. Office doesn't open until 10am. Doctor never ever on-time to even 10am appointments. One doctor, has about 5-6 assistants, all well versed in how to BS you in why the doctor is running late. If you have any type of a work schedule, don't go here, the doctor is over scheduled and you just get the feeling he wants to be done with you. If you have a special situation, forget this place, he is so backed up with appointments you can forget about getting any special kind of treatment. If you here these words, "Go and wait in the waiting area for 15 minutes and I'll check back in with you", that actually means 30-40 minutes. Don't go here and don't be snowed by the nice building, this is a time sink and all around bad experience.

We do begin seeing patients with appointments at 10am to enable staff time to complete lab work, ordering, and frame management with our partner vendors. Is appears as though your appointment was delayed due to emergency patients added to the schedule. Dr. Leroy and his staff are the best I've encountered in 35 years of contacts and eyeglasses. I've been to 2 of the "best" eye care professionals in LA when I lived in Pasadena. Dr. Leroy blows them away. He is so laid back that you don't realize how good he is until you walk outside the building in your new contacts and you can see better than you have in years. His staff knows their products well, and are very customer oriented and amenable. I actually look forward to going there...
