Why is there still no factory recovery image for the Moto X 2nd Generation Pure Edition Lollipop 5.0 build yet posted on Motorola's website?
+Punit Soni this is why we need you back at +Motorola Mobility
Seems like Motorola has done a 180° when it comes to the dev community. No factory images posted. It's sad. For about a year after the Moto X first was released it seemed like +Motorola Mobility  was a Dev best friend. Recovery images were posted to +Motorola Mobility website almost instantly it seemed like but now have turned their backs like Samsung. Fears people were having about the sale to +Lenovo seem to have come true. +Lenovo made a promise that +Motorola Mobility would continue to operate as it had been. That has proved to be an empty promise. All the strides +Motorola Mobility has been making to claw back into relevance can easily be washed away with this type of behavior. The development community really seemed to embrace the mid range Moto G and the cell phone community, sites like +Android Headlines +Android Headlines +Android Central +Droid Life praised both generations of the Moto X.
Do you +Lenovo or +Motorola Mobility actually think the average Joe Schmo phone buyer reads these reviews or even understand the uniqueness of the Moto X. We, the phone geeks do, and we embraced it and now feel abandoned.
Please right this ship +Lenovo allow +Motorola Mobility  to operate like it had in late 2013/early 2014.
Honestly right now +Motorola Mobility is no better than +Samsung USA when it comes to Developer Friendliness.

Just saw your tweet. Congratulations on the new job at FlipKart but I am definitely sad to see you leave U.S. shores. You helped revolutionize +Motorola Mobility and turned it into a Dev friendly company.
Which under +Lenovo has since gone back to being not so friendly.

The Nexus 7 options for Ambient Display has more options. The pulse, full mode. Options for clock and date.
The Nexus 6 version doesn't have that and seems to function as stock.
I was wondering if the build are moving towards the N7 version or the N6 version.

I tried to add this to original thread but couldn't add the pictures.

I much prefer the stock version of ambient display on the nexus 6. Other roms have made these changes that breaks the ability to trigger when picking up the phone.

+Olivier Meirhaeghe is Motorola going to start releasing the recovery images again to their website like they had been doing previously? Prior to +Lenovo take over +Motorola Mobility would publish the recovery images to their website for people. Now nothing. No images have been place there since November 2014. None are Lollipop for the Moto X.(2014).
Why has Motorola reversed course when it comes to treating developers as friend?
