FA Cup crowd flags take Sheffield United through to the semi-final

The Sheffield United fans have really got behind their team in this year's FA Cup, showing their huge support for the club with giant crowd flags produced by XG. Whilst some of the Premier League teams have fallen by the wayside, their enthusiastic support has paid off and the League One team has successfully made their way to the semi-finals with their next match against Hull United on 12 April. We wish them the best of luck!

Coca-Cola undertakes what it claims is “one of the biggest experiential activations the country will ever see” as part of its sponsorship of the Olympic torch relay.

The drinks giant Coca-Cola wants to create an Olympic legacy by building excitement around the torch relay as it passes through various towns in the UK and showcasing the positive things young people, some of which are torch bearers, are doing in their communities.
The activity, launching on 19 May, will feature a fleet of branded hybrid vehicles that will travel ahead of the torch bearers on the 70-day event, carrying ambassadors who will hand out sample bottles of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero to spectators on the streets.

XG Group, a leading UK supplier of large format event branding graphics including promotional vehicle graphics, was integral in managing the brand across the campaign, working with 2 separate agencies and 3 production companies involved with the project. Giles Puleston, sales director at XG Group, says “Our strong working relationship with agencies and production companies means XG could be entrusted with delivering consistency for the brand across all graphical elements of such a significant experiential campaign”.

XG Group work in partnership with agencies and event production companies to produce outstanding branding graphics for many major brands. With all production and finishing completed in-house in the UK, XG guarantees customers consistently high levels of service, along with best prices and fast delivery lead-times.

XG Group and Star Events Groups agree a working partnership with leading structure specialist De Boer.

The agreement will see the Brackley-based business working in collaboration with Star Events Group, whose services include seating, staging and rigging, and with XG Group, a large-format printing expert – offering the opportunity for De Boer’s clients to customise structures for specific shows, exhibitions or events.
The partnership was unveiled as the three companies jointly hosted a stand at IOEX, the International Outdoor Event Expo staged this week at London’s ExCeL.
