«IRIS -  Innovative learning Resources to foster equal participation in grassroots Sports dealing with discrimination, racism and violence incidents». IRIS aims to inform coaches and PE teachers on identifying underlying problems of discrimination, racism and violence, train them on novel didactic approaches for preventing these phenomena and provide them with educational tools for applying and integrating these approaches in everyday school sports activities.
IRIS is a two-year project, 2015-2017, uniting six European partners from Academic Institutions and National organizations from Greece, Bulgaria, Filand, Spain and Hungary. The participating Academic Institutions are: Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen (SHU), University of Jyvaskyla, University Santiago De Compostela and The Hellenic Open University (HOU). Our partners also include: The Regional Center of Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning-RCVLLL and the  Oltalom Sport Association (OSA).
