Before any rumors start flying: no, I haven't left the project. I have just been extremely busy with work. I'm trying to shuffle around my schedule to fit everything in and will hopefully find a balance soon. Cheers, ~B

Before the rumors start flying, I'll just say it here: work has me very busy this week and next. So, if you see (or have seen) reduced activity from me on Phabricator or IRC it is as a result of that. No tin foil hats needed.

I, uh. Might have been keeping a secret from you all. You might say, "validation" took a little longer than I thought it would.

Well here we are again folks. The 4th of July. A small group of people got together on this day, 241 years ago, to sign a written declaration of being fed up with tyrannical British rule and wanting to be a united nation of their own making. Since then, the USA has weathered its way through the Civil War, two World Wars, a Cold War, and countless other political, social, and economic trials.

In the past few years we have seen an undeniable resurgence of divisions in this nation. This has affected everyone, regardless of their political party, race, gender, sexuality, or religion. But I would have you all remember that it is these differences between us all that that are truly what make the USA such an amazing place. I have been blessed by my relationships and experiences with people from many different backgrounds, and I can only hope that they grew as much from them as I have myself.

For those of you who are concerned about the future of this nation: do not be afraid. Like so many conflicts before, we can get through the trials of today. But we will only do so if we remember what truly makes the USA such a special place: the people who call her home.
