Anyone else taking the Software Engineering for SaaS class through www.saas-class.org? But wow, it ramps up quickly. This first homework assignment WAY more advanced Ruby programming than I did in an entire other RoR class. I'm happy to go deeper into the language, but it's pretty intense! I guess that what happens when the class does so much in only 5 weeks!

+Phea Duch I'm not doing CS 373. Not enough hours in the day! Are you doing it? How is it?

Watching first lecture of Software Engineering for Software as a Service course. Looks like some really great concepts - Agile, Ruby on Rails, Cloud, Test Driven Development! First assignments due this weekend, so there's still time to sign up:

I remember seeing the title of that a while back and thinking it probably involved doing programming for non-profits and the like, oops ...

Brilliant!

Cribbed from George Takei. Loved it to death! Titles Dr. Seuss probably had in mind but that didn't rhyme.

As a foreigner I confess I didn't know about Dr. Seuss since is completely ignored in non-English countries. Until the day I enrolled my son in an English immersion program and he started bringing home Dr.Seuss books as Reading Log activities and now, we both enjoy reading them together! As a rock music fan I would state that Dr.Seuss is the Pink Floyd equivalent for Reading! :-)

Introduction
One of the fun ways I've been using Google+ is to connect with other people taking the free Stanford online classes.  So I'll be listing which ones I am taking here so people can find me!

Summer 2012 - Coursera: Algorithms,  Fantasy and Science Fiction, Internet History, and Human Computer Interface (HCI)

Spring 2012 - Coursera's SaaS and Model Thinking.

Fall 2011 - I am currently taking the Introduction to Databases and Machine Learning courses being offered online by Stanford University and am looking forward to connecting on Google+ with some of the other 80,000+ (!) people taking the classes!
