As I started to eat my food, a cockroach started running around my plates. I was so mad because I love this place but my server acted like it was normal.

This is the very best in Chinese food. My grandfather has long sought the top restaurant in Philly, and having lived there the past 60 years, he knows what he's talking about. Whenever we go to Philly, we go to David's. The steamed dumplings are AMAZING and we've watched them being prepared with thrilling dexterity and speed. The ginger sauce that comes with them is crisply refreshing and savory. I'm drooling just thinking about it....I'll be there in a few days. The staff is very polite and friendly, and they have great late night hours with delicious authentic food. Ever tried jellyfish? It's good! I would recommend this restaurant above any other to friends and family visiting in the Philly area.

This is the best place to eat if you are an insomniac. Try their Salt and Pepper chicken which is famous for the unique taste it offers.

My lady and I stopped in after it was recommended to us. She had pork lo mein, and I opted for the shrimp and scallops with asparagus and schezuan sauce. Everything was excellent; I highly advise making a stop here if you have the occasion to!!

Food was great and portions were big. Wait staff was attentive but not friendly. $15 minimum for credit card users.

If you want a huge cockroach in your food, then have a rude waiter threw your cockroach infested food in your face, then i recommend this place. If you don't ever wish that to happen, go somewhere else. The only thing they got going for them is a couple good dishes, but it's not worth the terrible service and they don't care enough to even apologize... just bad overall.
