The most overrated restaurant in Chinatown. This restaurant is similar to any backwater "wok" you will find in South Philly or anywhere else for that matter. Want a better, not disgusting, warmer interior? Go across the street to Ho Sai Gai, where you will get a 5 star service. Want REAL Chinese food? Walk a minute longer and you will find yourself at Rising Tide. The salt & pepper chicken is good, but this can be found at any Chinese takeout place. Oh David...what are you so well known for? Beats me.

Service was so poor I walked out and they weren't even busy, it's a Monday. I walked in and said Hello, the male worker looked right in my face, gave a dirty look and walked away. That rude service will kill your business no matter how good the food taste... After reading numerous reviews and after my experience, I would say STAY AWAY, Staff is racist against black people and I'm bi-racial. Guess my complexion speaks for itself as my character

The staff is usually friendly! My family has been coming here since I was a kid, and it was here where my love for roasted duck was born. I came here on a date recently and it's still good as ever! I got the house special fried rice, roasted duck, and fried dumplings.

This place is amazing according to my friend harsh (hardy) From jersey. He is so impressed that he is making me write a good review so he can keep eating. He is a fat ass who is telling each customers that are walking in that this place is good. Yes, I agree this place is good but he is also marketing and yelling at everyone who is walking in saying in quote, "damn this place is good!!!!"....yelling out loud in the customers ears as they walked by. Please come eat here as my friend states it in his own words. He said it's so good that he just wet himself.

I wanted to rate this place a zero because of our experience. We went to David's as we had in the past... Well.. We were seated at our table and a roach crawled across the table. I tried to give it another chance as the food is pretty decent and I thought it was a isolated incident. I was wrong they moved us to another table and and another friendly critter(roach) came crawling by... Needless to say we never took our coats off. Smh!!! We will never return

The food was good but service takes 25 minutes for one simple takeout order. Staff is selectively racist (visibly so) towards African-American customers

Excellent service (wait staff were polite and on-the-ball) and excellent food. I'll return when i come back to Philadelphia. Salt and pepper chicken wings are a great appetizer, for entree, i had Singapore noodles: good and spicy!
